I've been watching some Mario Party videos lately and I have seen the good and the bad during the ones that I've watched. It reminds me of when I used to play Mario Party either by myself or with some friends. It gave lots of memories of the good and the bad. Mario Party really made everything fun especially with friends. It turns out that all experiences and memories are what the Mario Party game series fun, exciting, frustrating, angry, and so many other mixed feelings that you have inside. That is why Mario Party is known to be the game that is the test of friendship.

One good memory that I recall is when I got lucky during chance time and I managed to capture 2 stars from a computer in Mario Party 3.
One bad memory that I recall is when I got 3 stars stolen from a friend when she managed to outfund me and rob my 3 star hotel in Mario Party 8. I raged and screamed "MY HOTELSSSSSSSSS!" after the incident.

My question to you all is what is one good memory and what is one bad memory that you recall and experience from playing a Mario Party game?

I don't think I can remember any SPECIFIC moments from when I played Mario Party 3 because it's been a long time. However, I do remember enjoying it immensely as one of the few games my siblings could actually play without fighting. It was nice that we got to take turns and that competition was friendly. Typically, I didn't enjoy playing with my siblings because I sucked at the games and felt quickly left behind. With Mario Party, it's not like I could be quickly 'out-leveled' or left for dead. Plus, I was pretty good at a few of the mini-games.

Mario Party 3 was just a win-win for all of us.

Singelli : Mario Party 3 is my favorite Mario Party of all time. It was very fast paced, was the debut of having 3 items, had lots more items to make party mode games challenging, had an interesting duel mode, and the amount of mini-games that it has. I think that this is the best Mario Party game out of the whole series so far that makes everything so interesting and enjoyable for me to play especially with my friends. I don't blame you for not enjoying while playing the game since Mario Party is pretty much like a domination for first place sort of game.

I saw a video series (you all saw it) where Luigi won by doing absolutely nothing. I was actually able to pull that off with a few friends and family, and the moral is:
Don't do that. You ruin friendships and relationships like that. They might fix in 3 minutes like mine did, but let's be honest, some people are a little more sensitive than that.

So, in a way, it's both a good and a bad memory xD

Man for me all my cousins just keep getting killed by me in Mario Party 3 because I know how to do the mini games and I seem to get all the luck from hidden blocks and other stuff so I just felt like a boss.  Though a bad thing that happened was one game I actually lost to one of my cousins and he was relishing the moment.  But I just laughed it off because at the end of the game, you just realized just how much fun everyone had even if you win or lose.

DrakPokeMaster : I thought I was the only one who saw the Luigi wins by doing nothing videos. I love those videos and Luigi. Have you watched the videos from every Mario Party made so far? Mario Party just breaks you especially if you are a competitive person in games. Robbing stars is a line where you cross the line so be careful.

NES59 : That's the beauty of Mario Party. You just have mixed feelings about it and you get to have fun with it as well. That's why I almost played all of the Mario Party games so far. Lots of memories are made through Mario Party whether it would be good or bad or how far you crossed the line to steal or manipulate someone.

ghostfishy : I've screwed people over in that game before. I even bet 20 bucks on a game once and won. I haven't talked to that guy since :/

DrakPokeMaster : Oh wow. I never thought of betting in a Mario Party game. I thought chance time was bad enough. There there... don't worry about it. -pats on your back-

ghostfishy : I love the good and bad party moments!! I remember a funny bad moment when I was winning against Peach in King Boo's board in Mario Party 8. She stole me one star and later reached King Boo many times :'(. I remember having a BOOM start !! The good moments are when people are winning against me but later loses. I team up with my cousin once and we had an Hotel with stars and we stole our rivals starts too and we said out loud 'WOOOOOO!!!!'

greenluigi : Hotels from Mario Party 8 are like the best and worst when it comes to the game. Nobody wants to lose a 3 star hotel and lose their 3 stars. I raged when I lost my hotel to a friend of mine. I don't ever want to deal with that moment again. That's the point with Mario Party, you want to be the winner, not the loser.

I still play Mario Party during Study hall in school with my friend on our DS systems because I am too cool for school. 
One good memory would be playing Mario Party 2 and chance time star switch when my friend had 5 stars ad I had 1. It was funnier because he started with a 3-star handicap which trolled him hard.
One bad memory is playing Mario Party DS and getting set to 0 by him when I was in first with 3 stars on the final round. I hate Bowser now.
