ok, I started getting bored so I figured I would make a history thread, WooHoo. I will begin with ancient Greece. Greece was a very early cililization, although it was never specifically founded as a nation. This is simply because Greece really a coalition of several, indepenent areas, known as citystates, (or in Greek a Polis)
Greece citystates were so independent due to how cut off from each other they were. Mountaians, and oceans kept the citystates from communicating with eachother.
Greeces citystates; due to the lack of communication were always fighting with eachother, rather than their real enemies, such as the persians, as such this all.......
(RIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGG) ok, class is out for now, see you all next time.

I can tell that wasn't copy + pasted, because of all the typos.

I always think of history class as just remembering facts, that's all. Though Geography can be a pain in the ass.

I like history, but it is my hardest subject. I think that history helps define us and learn from previous mistakes of man.

History is fun if you get more than just memorizing dates and names. It's the little stories and details that make it good. But, the stories and details come under so much political scrutiny that they get left out entirely, ruining the whole point of teaching history. Dates and names mean nothing if you don't know why it all happened.
