So, I am in chat, and a few people want to do a big, team, BGO game. So, I thought why not plan it in advance to make sure we have enough people, and that is truly is big. 

The idea will be to have 16 players, 8 on each team, and play to 300 or so. ( this can be changed and discussed, but personally, I would like it to be 500, if it really is going to be a huge thing ). 
Now, this will take about 3-5 hours, depending on how many people actually sign up, and who actually lags out, because there is bound to be a few. 

So, the rules will be fairly simple: 
Game Mode: Classic 
Game Type: Team: All For One 
Finish Space: 300 ( up for debate ) 
Max Players: 16 ( It will have to be an even number, and at least 10 people, minimum, for this to happen ) 
Action Timer: 30 seconds 
Start Rupees: 20 rupees 
Class Selection: All Classes ( this is up for debate as well ) 
Reinforcements: Reinforcements in the 3rd round 
Disarmed: Not Disarmed ( up for discussion, but no more than the 3rd round ) 
Wildcard Shops: Every 10 rounds 

TIME:
I am thinking the Saturday after Thanksgiving. That should be a day where everybody is available. Maybe 4PM server time? ( 2 PM PST, 3 PM MST, 4 PM CST, and 5 PM EST )  That'll be enough time for everybody to rest up from Black Friday Shopping, and Thanksgiving Leftovers. 
Again, the time is up for debate, but I just mentioned that time as everybody that signed up should be fine for everybody.

Id be down... if you werent in charge of anything and werent on my team... and if all of those rules you have set are flexible.

Basically, great idea, but hand over the responsibilities to somebody else. You are not the right person for hosting this. Not at all, sorry man.

thing1 : Usually when you want someone to host a game you actually ask them if they want to host. It is called "respect"

Because what if 16 people do decide to want to play it and then all of a sudden i have got to host a 4-5 hour Board game Online match. 

The match would probably take even longer than that... It will be boring for the people that do get to the target goal quickly and what if something happens like all the users get sent back to the start. 

Plus you pretty much rage quit 50% of the time so yeah, I do not want to take part thanks. Also i would rather have people enjoy themselves like the game is intended for then put up with whining and people complaining the game is taking forever... People get bored when it's to 300 and it is free for all.. And you want to basically times the amount of game time by 8

I'm out, so far out that if i was coming out of the closet, i would be talking to Azlan in narnia right now.  Whilst parading for gay rights and wearing a rainbow coloured morph suit 

sonicmcmuffin : I wasn't saying that you would. I was just saying I was going to ask you. I've been busy / toning down on the activity on the board a bit, so I never got around to asking you. I just assumed you would either say yes or no. I just noted that it would be cool if you did, so we could have double classes. 
And I don't rage quit. Most of the time, it's my laptop. One time, I had to go run an errand. I have only rage quitted a few times, and that was because of team kills, or being ganged up ( 2nd one is bound to happen sometimes, so whatever ) . 
And the reason for it being so long is because I was in the chat the night I made it, and a few people were like: "We should have a huge team BGO". So, I set this up. 

If it doesn't get enough attention soon, I'll just have the locals close it down, and call it another one of my failed ideas.

i doubt anyone said "We should have a huge team BGO" because a lot of people get bored after a while, we mentioned teams being 2v2 or 3v3 not an entire game filled 8 v 8. that would pour into 5-6 hours at least. You didn't need to make a thread about it.

I guess nobody wants a huge BGO team game. Party Poopers. 

I might make a 2nd BGO tournament, though. The first one worked out, well.
