The Articles forum has recently undergone some very big changes, including that all members (with exception of Newbies) may post articles. With these changes, we felt it necessary to
update the forum rules and guidelines. Please read them carefully before posting an article.

1. No plagiarism. If you use outside source information directly (such as sales info, or interview quotes) they must not make up more than 50% of your article.
2. All quotes must be cited. This includes the name of the person quoted, and the site/show/etc. that the quote was found on/during. For example "In an interview with IGN, Andrew House said".
3. All articles must be "professional", and use only proper grammar and formatting (no wall o' text).
4. All articles submitted to this forum will be scanned for quality and adherence to these rules. If your article does not meet these standards, it will be moved (or closed if plagiarized), and the
Viz and CP earned will be revoked.
5. Only Member+ rank may post articles (no Newbies. Sorry)
6. If you're writing an article for a specific game, be sure to input the game's id from the new thread page
7. If you're writing an article for a specific system, be sure to assign the thread to the sub forum named after the Company that makes that system (i.e. Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, etc.)
8. You're encouraged to attach images to your articles
9. Be sure to proof read and spell check your article
10. Layouts with text fields smaller than 500x500 pixels must be deactivated before posting an article.
