The only one I ever played was Civ II, and I gotta say it was one of my favorite games of all time.

civ 3 is so cool

Civ III is proberly the best. Of course thats my apeanone.

Civilization 2.
I played Civilization 2 on PSX and it's really good game for this console.
Unfortunately it hasn't got a multiplayer.

well i played civilization Revolution on Nintendo ds
it is very good but u can't different maps and other things that u can do on civi 3.
but when i get pc or ps3 version of civilization revo if u can get everything u get from 3 + the graphics revo would be the best one.
i haven't tried the 1st or the 2nd or 4th or the other parts 4 yet. but i getting the whole set some time in the near future.
so for now civ3 edit version on deity is the best. cause u make ur own map customize every little thing which gives u more options the regular games this games make u feel so good that u change things that really bug u about other games like i wish i change this or make these guys stronger or i wish this was over here or i wish there was a island over here so i don't have to go so far on ship.
u make ur own rules or u play by the ones in place.
civilization 3 basically revolution the concept or world domination also paved the way for other games to try to imitate but never be able to duplicate.

i have civ 3 and civ 4 from steam... civ 3 has some control annoyances but i find it easier to play casually... civ 4 i find to be harder and more annoying... the game controls better though... i haven't played revolution yet

I picked 4. I think it fixes most of the problems of the previous games.

1 is just too old .

2 was too easy. Fundamentalism and you were set for cash for the entire game!

3 was good, but I just felt like something was missing.

Civ4 and civ3 are good and i like both of them the original is outdated i think they should make better.
They did a good job on the civilization series

I played three and then after liking it picked 4 it is really awesome strategy game, but I have to admit that I have never really actually finished a full game, just played a couple of hours on each save and next time make a new game...

I prefer civilization iv.
I think it's better than the others.
But I usually play every game with that title, so I'll say that all of them are really good.

I think Civ 4 has to be the best one. It's highly addictive and will leave you wondering where all the hours have gone...

You didn't put Civ Revolution there, but I understand, it did suck.

Civ 3 was great, but when you play Civ 4 it seems like Civ 3 was an attempt at Civ 4, and Civ 4 is the ultimate product.

Civilization 4 is truly in a class of it's own. My only issue with it is the memory leak I always seem to run into after playing it for a while...never could fix it

I've liked all of them, but as each new one comes out I feel each new one is better, since it gives them a chance to try new ideas and fix all the problems with the previous ones. Because of this, I voted for 4.

Yeah, Civ 4 had such good graphics when it came out, it proved Civ 3 obsolete 3 times over!

Yeah, I really liked three, but when four came out, I did not like three that much afterwards....

civ 4 was the best I only played 2 of them so it's hard to say but still lol anyway the upgrations were the funnest part but I got bored.

I have always liked this series and continually like the newest game they have.

Did you see they finally announced a release date for Civilization 5? It will be coming out at the end of the year and has some cool enhancements including a community development network.

Can't wait!

The only one i ever played was civ 4 but now i want civ 5! Though hexagonal tiles would take a while to get use to and so is non stacking (civ rev i once stacked 10 altogether).
