greenluigi : Eh that might be true but you do know that would raise some questions. Such as why Red is never seen in the anime. I think if this was true they would have to show him to actually prove it.
 
Another question is this. Why isn't anybody aging. If Red was Ash's father than everybody would be older than they are in the game and there are no signs of that. Professor Oak would most likely be in his 80s in the show and about to die.
 
So I have to say no. I do not believe in this.

Well okay I got a few things to say. First off I believe one of my favorite youtubers did this theory and I think he said it was false but that's just a theory a Pokemon theory (Obviously joking about Game Theory.) So it could be true. And honestly if Ash was related to Red that be awful........ (I dun like ash) And in the Manga at the start he shows a save file so you could use that to figure it out. And there is also a 2 part episode movie thing that's basically the manga with mega evolutions if you didn't see it you should like right now. Also Red didn't have the 3 starters he only had Venasaur I think I may be wrong seeing as I didn't get through all the manga I think it was near the end of Soul Silver and HeartGold (not Silver and Gold) Also In my mind Red's universe is different than Ash's universe. Green I suggest you take a look at ProtoMario's channel if you into this stuff. In my opinion this theory is false.

I think it's more likely that the Pokemon game universe and the Pokemon anime universe are completely separate beings.

If, and only IF the universes were connected, it'd be far more likely that Red was one of the trainers in Pallet Town who got to Oak's lab while Ash was oversleeping.

That said, it's most likely the first case, where both the anime and the game are completely separate beings.

Honestly, I don't think Red and Ash are related at all. The theory is interesting, I admit, but I just don't see it. Like Legacy said, the Games and the Anime are probably separate things.

If this theory were true, it would be odd if you consider Pokemon Origins, since professor Oak would have to be immortal and would have to have two grandsons. And Red would be the same age as Ash for that. It's just confusing.

Well I said they were probably different universes first! Anyways If somehow you never encounter this theory to say it's your own. But if you did think of it on your own good job that great. Although I can't believe Green give away his Charzaird and Blue had to steal hers so why give it away? Although I think you should find more crucial evidence.  Also Oak we all now he's Firetrucking immortal. You know it I know it.  Ash Coma blah blah blah. Also I think you should of called this a Pokémon theory thread in the case that you want to add more and you don't spam Vizzed with all these threads.

Interesting theory, Green, but I have some pretty solid evidence against it. First of all, Team Rocket... What a time skip! See, Red, being the protagonist of FireRed and LeafGreen (if you choose the male player, that is), encounters and takes down Team Rocket. It's part of the storyline, right? After the events of the first generation, if he did marry Delia and have Ash, then how did Ash himself ALSO encounter Team Rocket and Giovanni? It's conceivable that the baddies could have made some sort of return after all those years, but the boss, Giovanni, didn't seem to age, did he? No, he didn't. Also, I understand that Blue and Gary Oak are DIFFERENT people (cross-cannon counterparts), but that doesn't explain the two Professor Oaks. There are numerous other characters, too, like Gym Leaders (including Brock and Misty), who haven't aged at all. This proves the two characters had their adventures in completely different universes.

Interesting theory, as I said before, but I still hold on to my belief (which is fact, really), that Red and Ash are just cross-cannon counterparts. Thank you for summoning me; it was a good read!

NintendoFanKimmy : Thx Kimmy. Like Legacy said, the Anime and Manga could be separate universe. Awesomeguy may be right, if Red was the father, then everyone will age! Including Professor Oak. The 'new' Team Rocket could be descedents or wants to take revenge. Still a mystery lol.  I have another Pokemon Theory that I will make today or tomorrow !

Dude, just because they have many similarities doesn't mean that they are father and son Unless I'm misunderstanding the proof you gave, it's completely coincidential. Plus, like leggy said, red and ash are probably just the game and anime counterparts.
