Hello there, my name is HeavyMetalGamer, and I am just another person on this forum. I actually heard about this from someone on a Facebook gaming group that was telling me about some of the ROM hacks on here, so I figured I would join and hang out here.

I enjoy gaming, heavy metal music, as well as classic rock/hard rock, old punk (mostly horror punk) and classic outlaw country/rockabilly.

I do have a Youtube channel where I do gaming videos at, but I won't spam it on here

Btw what kind of games do you generally play?

baileyface544 : I like a variety of games, PC, console, retro/classic, etc. I really love indie gaming, besides the currently controversy which I don't really talk about, there are some amazing indie games out there. I don't have the best PC, so it's mostly stuff from 2009, and back, unless it's a new indie game that can run on older systems.

With emulation and what not, I can play classic consoles/computers that I can't find out in the wild, and so on.

Genre of games I love racing games, platformers, action, action/adventure, simulation, first person shooters, third person shooters, puzzle platformers, and I been slowly getting into the RPG genre, not big on JRPGs, but I enjoy Action RPGs like Fallout, The Elder Scrolls franchise, Dead Island etc.

Some of my favorite games are, Manhunt, Hotline Miami, Fez (yes Phil Fish is a moron), The Expendabros, BroForce, Team Fortress 2, Fistful of Frags, Retro City Rampage, Grand Theft Auto (series), Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG, The Warriors, Shadow Warrior, Doom, Doom II, Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem 3D, Carmageddon, Blood, Shogo: Mobile Armor Division, Soldier of Fortune, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, Max Payne 3, FarCry, Ducktales Remastered, Mega Man, Final Fight, and a ton of other games

Lotta good games there man.
I spent a lot of time on steam going through the indie games myself
Been playing Zafehouse Diaries, Which is a zombie survival turn based stratagy game
As far as the Action rpgs, have you ever played Dark Souls?
A pretty strong and fun game series once you get the hang of it

I don't really like rock, it makes my ears bleed . But I do like games! Are you planning to record some of your games here and put it on your Youtube? baileyface544 : I have played the Souls games at a friends, and love them, they are tough, almost brutal tough, and just a blast to play. I just need to get them and playthrough them

@steel_attacker: Well I figured the site has been around for a while, but I never knew about it until someone told me about the ROM Hacks. As for posting my videos, I may record footage from here, it all depends, I did see some have recording capabilities, which is a big plus.

Hello HeavyMetalGamer, and welcome to Vizzed! Hope you have fun gaming in the RGR and posting on the board. Also, feel free to get to know some of the members of the site, and befriend even a few of them too. You can also hang out at the chatroom to get to know some of them. When you have a question or need help, don't be afraid to ask. Also going to add more to what Jms is saying about being trusted. You don't just be a good member and earn trust points for it, you get it when someone feels you are trustworthy, you obey the rules of the site, and you get along well with others.
