Over the last couple weeks, Fox has officially cleared the rumors and have set out a date for the Simpsorama episode which is the season 26 episode of The Simpsons which brings Futurama into the show! As of September 4th or so, it will have been one full year since Futurama was cancelled and the episode will air November 9th.


It's going to be great to be able to see the show again after being cancelled, but this might be a window for the show to come back again.

What do you think?

I think the show MIGHT come back. My theory is that this is a test. If ratings and approval is high, Fox may revive Futurama. I don't think it's likely, but it's a possibility. At the very least, it may turn over fans of Futurama to The Simpsons.

Now they are bringing together two has been universes to see if they can get something pass-able from it.
The writers have long since run out of ideas, I havent watched an episode in probsbly around 4 years, maybe longer.
Familly guy is the same, im left waiting, wondering if somewhere through the episode something funny might happen.
Popularity seems to kill all that is good. Its the tv equivelant of call of duty.

Well, the countdown begins, there's exactly 4 weeks left from today until the show airs and I can't wait to see it, especially after watching how the Simpsons Crossed over with family guy, which gives me even more hope that the episode is going to be a success and that futurama may be able to come back one day.
