Hey guys! I'm going to probably be looking for a computer some time next year and I was wondering if some of you could give me some links to good laptops or desktops with these kind of SPECS. I'm going to be doing research to find which computer would be best for me to buy.

INTEL CPU - Intel Core i3 3220
AMD CPU - AMD Athlon X4 750K
RAM - 4GB
NVIDIA GRAPHICS - NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 (Improve: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650)
AMD GRAPHICS - AMD Radeon HD 6670 (Improve: AMD Radeon HD 7750)

OR THESE SPECS BELOW

INTEL CPU - Intel Core i5 2500K (Improve: Intel Core i5 3570)
AMD CPU - AMD FX-8350
RAM - 8GB
NVIDIA GRAPHICS - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (MAC OSX: NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M)
AMD GRAPHICS - AMD Radeon HD 7950

I'm not sure if these are good or not but it's what I need to play some of the games I want to play. If you have any better computers with higher specs it would be appreciated if you added those as well. I'm looking for prices between 500-800 dollars I believe. 800 may be a bit much I'm not quite sure yet but any suggestions or links to computers would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS!

Hi there. I know this is not really answering your question, but remember to keep an eye on the SPEED of the ram too. You'll want it to be DDR 3 1600 or better. If you spot a computer you like, post it here and I will let you know if it does have it.

On the first list, I think the CPU might be a little low. I would stick to the i5 or better. The i5 2500k is a great choice, (make sure you get the 2500k, not the 2500).

I haven't bought a computer in a long time, I usually build them, so I can't really help you with finding one; I don't really have more experience in buying than anyone else, sorry.

Bintsy : The first option looks pretty bad for a gaming computer, but the second one looks great! The AMD processor is a tad bit better than mine. Mine's the FX-8320 and yours is the 8350. I don't know much about Intel processors, but from what I have gathered, the 2500k and the 8350 are almost the exactly the same performance wise and the 3750k is a tad bit better, but it isn't noticeable. I'd say to go with the AMD because it's way cheaper.

For RAM, it looks fine, mine has 12, but 8 should work perfectly. Light Knight: makes a good point too about the ram being DDR3-1600 or higher.

For graphics card, I can tell you that whether you go with the Radeon HD 7950 or the Geforce 760x, it will be pretty much the same performance. The Geforce 760x is just barely better, but it wouldn't be noticeable. I'd go with whatever's cheaper. I have the Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270x 2GB GDDR5 OC with boost, and it is almost exactly the same performance wise with the Radeon HD 7950. If my graphics card is amazing (which it is ) then so is the HD 7950.

My computer is $750, so I might as well leave the specs for you to decide whether you want the same parts or not. I'm going to say right now that your graphics card and processor are just a tad bit better, so they will pretty much be the same as what you've got on your list.

CPU: AMD FX-8320
Graphics Card: Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270x 2GB GDDR5 OC with boost
Memory/RAM: 12GB RipJaws X Series (3 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage: 1TB Seagate Barracuda
PSU: HEC 585 watt
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 (Not good if you want to put in more than 1 graphics card. It's just pretty cheap.)

Hope I helped answer your question! Peace .

Hello Here is a suggestion. Now I don't know much about rams or the speed of the computer or any of that nature but out of my experience I have come to notice that desktops tend to do better with games than laptops. But recently I bout 1TB lap top and replaced the graphics card in it. It runs so smooth on this website.

An i3 processor, yuck.

Dont get less than an i5, period.
4GB RAM is acceptable, 8 is more ideal.

Nvidia gtx760 will play any game at respectable settings. Depending on what you are playing, it may be massive overkill.
