Alright.... We all have a laptop with a mic inside it...  why not use that? So the people that cannot afford a n64 controller with a mic can PLAY.
Because without the mic, People cannot progress or even PLAY The game.

Well I think the reason behind this is because the emulators are still trying to play every game [almost] perfect with little bugs.
And because there are only 2 games that use the mic, I don't think they are worrying about it yet.
