So with rumors of a new Soul Caliber game possibly coming around the bend I want to know what you guys think about it if anything at all. The interviews I've read so far are not promising, not promising at all. I'm sad to say one of my favorite game series could be on the verge of death. It seems so far all anyone on The Soul Project cares about is... well... sex appeal. Personally I'm tired of fighting games losing site of why they even created the game... for entertainment. I'm quite worried that the all fighting games will eventually just end up like Dead or Alive. Now that said, if The Soul Project can pull their crap together I think the game could possibly revive it's fan-base especially with next-gen technology at their disposal.
   Anyway I want hear what you guys think about where the series could go, especially since Soul Edge and Caliber are now destroyed and our heroes (and even villains) are now scattered without a cause. What will become of Patrokolos and his sister? Could the blades have somehow manged to revive themselves, or will something new arise in their place?

Wow, I didn't know that there might be a new Soul Calibur game coming out. Soul Calibur 6 in the making. I only played Soul Calibur 2 on the Gamecube and I didn't regret trying it out when my cousin told me to do so.

I do agree with you about a lot of fighting games trying to make their stuff very revealing like Mortal Kombat 8 with the female fighters. I also think that some fighting games make their fighters unrealistic like looking like they're on steroids or bodybuilders.

It would be pretty interesting to see Soul Calibur 6 have online play and online tournaments especially when it's been quite some time since I've seen Soul Calibur. Everyone will fight in order to get the blades back to restoration! DUN DUN DUN!

I have played Soul Calibur 1,2,3 and 4.

I have not played 5 yet and there is already talk about 6 ? I thought Soul Calibur was heading to it's grave. Dead or Alive is already in it's grave, would take a miracle for it to come out of it. I can't say I'm excited about Soul Calibur 6 but I wouldn't mind playing it. I have lost some interest in the series but still like to play as Lizardman.

@ghostfishy. Yeah I actually would love to see the tournaments. You should look up some from the newer games...  They get pretty intense. 

Please god let this be true, with the 5th one i was a little disappointed with the shortage of characters but I did like the graphics and i was happy they carried over Voldo & Tira. I'm hoping the new one will have a story mode with the map of stages with the levels with tons of cloths because with the arcade and the short stage story mode it makes the game get really boring and quick especially if you get all of the titles ahead of time. Pretty much if this game comes out it better be worth our while!
