This is the thread to discuss the time of the tournament for Group One, as well as voting on whether to use custom packs or not. I thought that would be the best way to optimize time for everyone, and to make it as fair as possible with regards to custom packs. If you do not know what these custom pack are, they are basically packs that are non-official Cards Against Humanity cards, such as the Anime and My Little Pony packs.?

I am free most anytime. I hope to have us do this early August, but if we have to push it back, then I guess that is just fine too. Post your available times below for the first week of August, if you would, as well as your vote on whether to use custom packs or not. I will not be included in the vote for custom packs.

I can play anytime at night from 9-10 for the next 2 weeks. I can also play from 7-4 from august 3rd-8th.

All these times eastern time zone.

Also, no custom packs, just the normal ones.

I am available weekends. Otherwise, I don't get home until about 6pm everyday since my new teaching job is an hour away from where I live. My wife wouldn't be fond of me spending the little time I am home in the day doing this, but I can manage as long as it is just one day and we don't take a LONG time.

I vote regular decks

Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday are no good for me. Any time of any other day though I am able to play. Just let me know when, preferably a day or two in advance, and I will make sure I am available. 

Oh, and as cool as custom packs are... I think just the normal ones would be best for all purposes of this tournament, since there are some more mature subjects in some of the decks we usually play with.

I vote for keeping custom packs as we always play with custom packs and it shouldn't be changed

mourinosgum: Oh, I am all for the custom packs, do not get me wrong. However, I think we should not use the custom packs because not everybody is going to get some of the references, and thus it would be unfair to some of the participants. 

Well, I would like custom packs. And for times, I've got a really inconsistent schedule. We can just wait for some other well-liked time and day, and I'll see what I can do.

While i love some of the custom packs, half of them are full of stuff that only a few people even get.

I should be available every weekend for certain, but during the week, I can't promise to be online at a possible time for you people in America. (I would have to be online around 11 PM my time, which is not something I can do every day)

I'll look at the most requested date in this tread though, and do my best to work it out so it works for me as well.

Since nobody is suggesting a time... How about 8 PM server time on Saturday. Does that work for everybody?

8 PM server time on Saturday is fine for me. Unless something unexpected happens, I should be available.

Sorry I feel like I'm gonna be "that guy" who always has the bad time :p.

I only have access to a computer on Mondays - Friday 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Also I vote for normal decks.

Blubcreator : Well, since school is starting for most users pretty soon (already started for me as a teacher), 11am-5pm is near impossible as most are in school or just getting home within that time frame.

sop281 : meaning tomorrow? Should work for me unless something unexpected happens. How many points are we doing exactly?

rcarter2 : 8 seemed like a fair number, but I could increase or decrease the number of cards needed to win as circumstances arise. Also, I believe he means tomorrow. 

So it seems like the majority of people are ok with 8 PM server time for Saturday night? ( which is tomorrow ) Good. 

Also... I think 10 would be a good win mark. Keeps everything a bit more simple, in my opinion. 

Also... how does one get eliminated?

Simple, maybe, but with the number of people we have playing, it would like take too much time, so I was trying to find a happy equilibrium. 

No elimination. This is just one straight tournament. The winner of this one game shares the prize with the winner of group 2's match. 

If it has to be at 8PM or later, I have to drop out. I can only be online at 4 AM- 4 PM, seeing as I'm 7 hours ahead. I don't want my timezone messing this up for everyone.

If we can work something out that is earlier, all the better. If not, I'll root for y'all.

Er surprise. I'm leaving on a random vacation I didn't even know about. I will be away for a week. I think it would be best if I forfeit the tournament. I probably wouldn't have been able to make it to any of the games anyways.
