I just got through checking out your channel.
Tell Folks you have footage of the "A.V.G.N. Game".
I would bet that that would get some much needed traffic.
The more rare the game?
The more traffic you might get.
Insanely popular console hits are typically done to death by the time they get affordable.
(Unless you do a duet act like "The Game Society Pimps", "Game Grumps", "The Completionist", etc, etc, etc.)
Pick your Niche and try to stick to it.
"Mr.MattyPlays" and about 3 others jumped on the Fallout Game hype and Dominated the News, Updates, and Similar genres of "Post Apocalypse" style games till the Next "Fallout 4" gets its due. Till then they get all that traffic.
"MattPatt","Gaijin Goomba", and "Extra Credits" went for the Educational theme and can research whatever they want whenever they want.
I would mention the superhero stuff but chances are some dude, fool, or whatever already has that stuff.
But....
It might get you a Niche theme a little easier.
Like the color red? Do Every game that DeadPool is in. He's popular at the moment. Plus his games are all fair priced now. Bonus: He makes appearances as D.L.C. Or "Mods" quite often in allot of sandbox titles and large scale R.P.G.'s like "Skyrim."
If I could upload videos onto youtube? I would probably start with that.
Anyway, those are all off the top of my head ideas. I hope you have some luck. (I'll subscibe and check it out.)
Good Luck To All.
Peace.
More advice or ideas.
I caught a couple of your videos.
Great work with getting the videos even uploaded and the extra info boxes (Player Cam) organized in non obtrusive locations. Some Internet Video Professionals take months to figure out what Comic Book "Word Balloon" Artists and Writers have been doing for years.
I would recommend only using the "self cam" on Comedy and Horror games though.
If you know how to edit and can edit it in with whatever video at what ever time?
Then every game can have a few seconds of self footage for Comedy or Horror or Victory moments.
That's all I really got for today.
But
Good Job.
I hope you find my input useful.
Good Luck To All.
Peace.
I think I found your Theme Or Niche.
You have F.P.S. games that have a large inventories.
You have customizable games that are Mod friendly.
Some of your Examples are Skyrim, Minecraft, Halflife.
If the games do not have a large inventory? Then they lean on Large amount of Content. (Usually).
Some of your examples are The Horror Games, A.V.G.N. Game, Etc, Etc, Etc.
So, I think your theme is having allot of options and Inventory and Choices within the game.
Running gag statements could include...
"What's on the Menu?" ?
"More Options Please". ?
"Sack Magic". ?
"Pack Heavy". ?
"Inventory Eccentric". ?
"Inventory Full." ?
"Loaded Content". ?
"Pack Hunter". ?
Any of the above could work for a stated or typed theme.
You can play with the words and how they are presented in any way you choose.
Point is You may want a mission statement on why you are trying out this game or that game and give your audience something to follow aside from the obvious game itself.
Pick the running theme and have fun with explaining to the audience why you filmed this experience or the next. The "Video Description Boxes" are one area to try this in. A Brief Intro into the video itself is another method.
(Note: Often, people use the Description Boxes to save footage and issues with editing or mispronounced words or miss-juggled Nouns. So, if you make a mistake that is too much of a pain to fix? You have an option to correct it with a few Button Taps on the Keyboard.)
At the end of the day? It is your channel and I hope it does well.
Good Job.
