It seems like everyone has that time in his or her life when it's time to get behind the steering wheel It's just something we can't live without these days, I guess...
For most of my summer I've been studying in a driving school and now I've passed the theory exam
I still have the actual driving part, so I'd like to know one thing...
Can anyone please tell me what it's like to be a driver?
I've already driven a car several times but I want to know what do you think.
How do you feel behind the wheel...

Local Mods : You think this belongs to Cafe Corner?

I am a beginner driver, despite my age. I'm still getting a bit use to it, but I am getting the handle on things. Slowly, but I feel like I'm making good progress.

At first it's like neat, I'm a hazard to literally everyone around me! But as you get more comfortable with everything it becomes second nature to drive. Just make sure to practice a lot, don't do anything you feel uncomfortable with out on the open road. Make sure you're confident in your abilities.

It was a bit more entertaining when I first started 4 years ago. It seems like a tedious task at times to get from place to place, especially when traffic is heavy. But most of the time I feel more relaxed when driving.

Of course, when first starting out, I was always unsure of what to do in certain road situations I hadn't experienced yet. I also constantly felt like I would do something wrong.

But, all in all, driving is just kind of there. Has to be done. There was the brief moment of "hey I'M driving," but it didn't last long since it's not as big of a deal as the entertainment industry makes it out to be.

I'm a driver, and it's pretty awesome. It's neat being self-dependent, and I don't have to rely on parents/friends for transportation.

Back when I first began driving, I'd go on two hour drives around the countryside, driving roads I hadn't seen before and surrounded by amazing greenery. I haven't done something like that since, and I really miss it.

Anyway, nice job on finishing the theory, and best of luck on the real test!

I drive but I'm an unique driver, because I have Autism but I'm still able to drive a car. Driving a car can be nerve wracking at first. But the more you get used to it the better you become. However, I still get nervous on interstates because to many sensory things going on. My advice would be take your time do not rush things.
