Old and new, these games are great.  By the way...these are in No particular order.

1.  The "original" Tecmo Super Bowl. I hate the raiders but if anyone has played that game they know that Bo Jackson is a beast.  And if you got lucky enough to have him at "excellent" status. It was as good as over. You could not catch him.

2.  Galaga-- Man, what can I say about this game.  Hours and hours of time spent in front of this game.  I got so good at this game that it was nothing to break 100,000 points every time. One of the few games that I felt confident playing.

3. God of War Trilogy (I'm not counting ascension), I absolutely love this series. I think they are well thought out and very fun to play. I spent timeless hours and days figuring out the puzzles and figuring out a way to beat the bosses. So fun

4. ESPN NFL 2K5-- "yes, I said 2005" Still my favorite football game after Tecmo. I do like some of the madden games but I still feel that as far as playability and just overall fun, this game is tops on my list.  If you have never played this game give it a shot. You will be pleasantly surprised.

5. Dune Battle for Arrakis--One of the coolest strategy games. We used to play and time each other in how long it would take us to beat each individual level, depending on the strategy and how you went about it each outcome could be different but the inevitable end all of the level is always "destroy all enemy units"...music to my ears.
