The most recent console I've purchased was a Wii U.  I got the Windwaker HD bundle just a couple months ago.   I got a PS4 and a 3DS XL before it not too long ago.

pacman1755 : My latest system, and also my favorite, is the Wii U (While I do think that it should be called Wii 2 or something like that, the systems abilities are completely awesome.) This system combines another great system--the wii with something very new. You have a console, game screen, and controller all together, and yet you are not limited to a tiny little screen! You also can use your tv. I love the Wii U for some of its recent games like Pac Man and the ghostly adventures and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. There are plenty of others that I just cannot wait to get my hands on, like Sonic and the lost world--or was that sonic generations?--Transfomers: Rise of the Dark Spark, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, and Pac Man and the ghostly adventures 2, and that tank game from namco! I love the fact that I do not need a battery for my controller, and that I am not plugged directly into the console. The wireless capability allows you to take the wii u nearly anywhere within a somewhat decent range, which makes it much more convienent for avid gamers like me. I like the fact that the gamepad can work as a tv screen and wireless pointer reciever and tv remote all in one! Personally, I think this is the coolest system ever!

My most recent console was a PS3, so I could get those HD Kingdom Hearts collections!

Finally, the Final Mix versions came to America! Definitely worth my buy!

pacman1755 : the newest system I bought was a smash bros blue 3ds. I bought it to replace my other 3ds which was having some analog stick and control pad issues.

I got my XBOX ONE ( finally ) back on Black Friday. I am so happy that I finally got it. It's a good investment. All the things on it is definitely worth the money I paid for it. 

My most recent system I got was an original PSP a couple of months back. The only reason why I got it was so I can play Project Diva on my way to school. I got sick of waiting in the bus everyday and I needed Miku to entertain me

I recently bought a PS4 so I can get with the next-gen stuff as well as play with my friends.  Been loving all the games I have so far and there are still more video games that are coming out I still want to have.

Well, the last console or handheld I bought was a Wii U back in December 2013.
Money problems prevented me from buying more consoles and/or handhelds, which is a crying shame.

I got the PS4 about 2 weeks ago. I traded in my old XBOX 360 during a trade in promo towards a PS4 or a XBOX ONE. 

The latest gaming system I bought was a purple nintendo gba. It's the original style, and I bought 60 different games to go along with it. I got a fairly good deal for it all.

It's been a few years since I bought a new system. I used to own a PS3 but had to sell it. Since then I picked up a good used SegaCD system and a few games which is awesome. Load times still stink though. I used to own one of those too when they came out but..had to sell it. lol

   I just recently bought a Sega Genesis with Sonic 1, 2 3, Spinball, and Vectorman. It all smells like smoke.

I just got myself a new Wii-U system this past Friday. I have been wanting to get one for quite some time, but couldn't because of money issues, but I have manage to get a small opening with a paycheck and went and bought one.

So far, I only got 3 games (2 came in a bundle for the Wii-U), but I got more planned.

Psp vita. It proved to be much better than it's predecessor. That's for sure.

I bought a 2DS. I didn't really need a 3DS, because that 3-D hurt my brain, and I didn't need a XL for the bigger screen. So, I was fine paying $40 less for the ability to play 3DS games. All my friends wanted me to get one so we could all play Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and now that I have one, no one plays...

Unless you count me getting a new smartphone since you can somewhat game on it, I'd say my Playstation 4.

A part of me regrets getting it because I really wanted to get a low end gaming PC but didn't have the money or the patience to save up for one, and couldn't build one myself so I ended up going for the PS4 late last year. I mostly regretted it then because there was barely anything of interest out on it. But now when they've started to announce some exclusives, and I have more games it's getting better. Though most stuff don't hit until next year unfortunately :/

Well my most resent game system I have bought was a PS 4 the Batman Arkham Knight PS 4 and no it was not the one that has batman on the side of it, because I guess you have to pre-order the darn thing but its still on gamestop website so I thought you could buy it guess not, but hey at least all the games look GREAT on my new tv............... that I had to buy to be able to use my PS 4.
