In the late 90s a game called Tibia became well known for computer
users , perhaps because it is one of the first MMORPG (Massive
Online Role- Playing Game ) . The game is actually quite simple and exists to this day .
There are hundreds of legends ranging from a
supposed player who stole a rare sword to characters that appeared out
of nowhere killing everybody , and we're not talking about characters
controlled by players ... But the case is that a rumor arose that became legend for players that core and that era .
It started with an update that expanded the game map to a new area called " Kazordoon " . Turns
out , walking the depths of the caves , it was possible to see a snake
called Basilisk that was in an inaccessible location of the cave . It was impossible to reach the same place where was the Basilisk , only you could see . Many onlookers tried to reach , and at the time it was not possible , or at least not for most players .
Legend has it that three players reached the snake , a guy named Melvin U.S. , Chase Canada and a third unknown. They say that the first two were together and the third unknown time later. It
turns out that the legend says that these players had many colleagues
in the game , and after entering the cave, never to return to play , the
game simply disappeared , social networks and even the time of msn from
the moment they entered the cave.
The legend went on for a while and every kind of rumor was born to every day . One
of them tells us that the players had suffered a big scare for having
seen something supernatural in the game , by the way , the game had no
sound at the time, and it seems that players have come to see and hear
tantalizing things on their minds and ended up getting mad at point of not knowing who else was in real life.
