Have you ever met an NBA Player in real life? I felt compelled to make this because I recently saw former New York Knicks player Charles Oakley. He was on the same floor of the building that I was interning in. I saw him, and I asked another? man about taking a picture with him. Apparently, Oakley was there for some private event, so it seemed unlikely. Anyway, I was told that the guy didn't know. I didn't take the picture, but it was to see someone like that in person.

Has anyone else had similar experiences like this? With current or past players?

Well, I have had a similar experience like this, but it wasn't a NBA player. It was a NFL player, and I actually met two of them at the same time. Atlanta Falcons WRs Julio Jones and Roddy White...two of my favorite players on my favorite team. And let me tell you, both of their hands were HUGE. I got a chance to say hi to both of them, face to face, and shake both of their hands. They came to the bowling alley I work at for some charity event. I even got to bowl with them for a couple games. It was definitely an experience I won't soon forget!

Parenteau (an NHL player that no longer plays for the Islanders) in french. We got to ask him all kinds of questions and stuff, which was cool. I didn't "meet" him, but I got to ask him a question.

I don't think I ever really met anyone from the NBA in real life, because if I did, I would definitely know by the dwarfing of my own size. Either way, I would love to meet one, however. It just takes some time, I guess.
