Hey there people,

The name is cieran and im just crazy about most things retro, the games were just go much better back then and more of a challenge for the users playing them. i live in the U.K - England and am 18 years old. can't wait to make friends and get to know people playing my favourite games each day finding and discussing new ones with the friends i make trying out all the games i find.

Would just like to say feel free to reply and or add me and pm me, i'll be up for a chat and can't wait to really get into the board making friends and helping out where i can with other users.

Mostly, just strategy and things like that, i like to have some fun in the games too.. i've been a big sega fan over the years and most old systems, always loved the old sonic's and various other games such as toejam and earl or earthworm jim and gain grain, super smash tv... could just go on and on

What games do you play? some of the hacked/modded/edited games can be fun too!!

yeah i've seen the chat room i believe, sure ill drop in some time.

I too like Sega games a lot, especially Light in the Darkness is one of my favorites and ofcourse Sonic's. But mostly I like to play RPG's like Final Fantasy, Grandia, Breath of Fire and so on. Don't know much retro strategy games even though I like that kind of games too. I used to played Empire Earth and Age of Mythology on PC there were more like a war strategy games.

And I have tested some of the hacked games here such as Pokémon's, Final Fantasies and some Mario's. Some of them are quite good and some of them are really bad.

yeah sega is great, and RPG's can be good, but now days i'll go to pick up and RPG and unless it's something special or different i just get bored too easy.. but i do love me some good strategy games where i can find decent ones to play.

umm... damn got me on the spot now haha, umm rampart was always one thats strategy i'd say, i think its on here not too sure, there's things like gain ground and super smash tv that are strategy as such.. just in general i like streategy games, some rpg's but it depends guess im fussy haha

I see you and Cactuar get along well If you want to go to the chatroom, it costs Viz to go to there so I advise to watch out and if you get negative, then you should wait for a few days or make some posts on the boards. thanks, yeah i've been here before, infact i've been here when i was still in school probably talking at least 09 ish.. i would go chatroom but as you say it costs im happy to make friends and pm through messages to chat as that's free i believe although im not sure? 

yeah i will probably be on the boards more, can't be too sure just depends if i need to post or if there's something of interest i see to discuss with others otherwise there isn't need to post?

im pretty tech wise so to speak with things so i should be alright as a whole really but of course i would always post and check for help when and if needed, in fact earlier i was uploading a video through vizzed to the vizzed youtube and i went of the page by mistake and not sure how to find a upload page again to do it again?

anyways im cieran and have used this site many times, have an account again now as i said i forgot my other as i used it briefly at school for gaming in class would be happy to make friends, feel free to drop me a message and friend request

To answer your questions, it doesn't cost Viz to send private messages, and you're not forced to post on the boards but I would try to become a normal member, as you don't have the limits from newbies. All you gotta do for that is making 10 posts and being a member for more than 7 days.

thats fine as i said i plan to usr the forum somewhat just probably not as much as some users might so shouldn't be much of a problem really to slowly get my rank up, i'll be on here daily im sure as i love retro games and to exchange suggestions with people etc...

i already uploaded a video of me playing mario to the vizzed youtube, i have another that i stopped the upload by mistake so need to redo the upload when i find the right page again as i keep forgetting.

overall though i love this site its great, i've used it before as i said to play games but should be on the forums more i hope if i remember to use them which im sure i won't have any issues with, hello to a few others who posted here as i've said feel free to friend me and pm me im up for a chat and talking, getting to know people and exchanging favourite classic's

Oh, about these design's i was going to make one with like an image background.. but it's split in 3 so it like doesn't show all of an image any help on making my own post design would be great, cheers

To make a post layout, My advice is just to keep it simple.. A lot of people here make really bad layouts by finding an awesome picture that has so many colours that it's impossible to find a font colour that works properly...

You could make the text box black so that the post is visible, but personally I like my text boxes to be transparent 

Also it's nice to see another user from the UK here... Have fun

I don't really want anything all that fancy if im to be honest i just mean like.. i don't see how people get it to be like a solid one picture and thing's because the design is split into 3.. i may just not know my way around it which is why im asking for assistance, i just wanted to make my post's a little more personal to me rather than buying someone else's with Viz or just leaving it standard like this?
