I like summer a lot better than school. I like seeing my friends at school, but I hate the work and sitting in class is really boring. I love the summer. I am not a beach person or anything like that, but I go to a summer camp. I am a CIT (counselor in training) which means that I do all of the work of a counselor, but I don't get paid :/ Well, I do get an hour and a half break when I get to hang out with the other CITs. The reason that I love camp so much is because I get to hang out with my camp friends (who I like better than my school friends) and I get to play sports and stuff and I don't have to worry about homework or anything like that. I also love my little second grade campers, and they love me too! They are constantly clinging on to me, I love it!

I'm no longer in school in fact I haven't been in high school in 10/11 years. However, I liked school better. When I was in high school we did not have social media. So school was when I saw my friends. Now with that being said. I enjoyed summer too because Summer meant youth camp and retreats at my church's youth group. So either way I got to see my friends. But school is were I got to see my friends that went to other church's. We had fun, we hung out, went to dances, and football games.

I will definitely have to go with summer time. While yes, there are many days where you just sit around and end up doing absolutely nothing, but you do not have to do any sort of extra school work, or sit through classes. Simply being at home away from all that stress is pleasant, and I do not relish the thought of going back.

When I was in school, I used to love summer time. My family would go camping for weeks and it was a blast. Then I entered high school and really fell in love with my horticulture class and I kind of didn't want summer vacation to come. One year I was hired by the school division to work in the courtyard and the horticulture class taking care of all the greenhouses. I honestly prefer school.
To me, September 2013-March 2014 felt like Summer. I freaking hated it. After March 2014, it was even worse. I will never ever do home at school. Dumb decision.

 I love summer because of the warmth, but I still have to choose school. I've been unemployed the entire summer which has caused me a lot of stress and even though I've gone to summer school I feel bored almost daily. Still six weeks before the semester starts, I can't wait!

I think the favorite time during school, not including the summer part, would probably be the Senior Trip I had down in Wisconsin Dells, which I talk about in another thread I made, and possibly the Chicago Trip I went to see Rock of Ages. Those were probably the only times I could say that I had the most fun during school.

Summer, I hate school with a burning passion, I love summer because I can be lazy and use the internets, and if I wanna chill out with some friends, that's also possible because no curfew on summer days lets me stay out as late as I want and I can do "fun" things.
