I've been emulating this game recently, and whenever I load the VBA emulator (which is the emulator I typically use for GBA games), after the first screen, I get an error message. And the other emulator runs fine, but has sound issues, including weird sound effects and background noises just being silent. I can't stand sound issues on emulators, so can someone either a) tell me what I need to do to get VBA running, or b), figure out how to fix sound issues?
And I recently tried Namco Museum for GBA on the VBA emulator. It seems to run fine there.
Thanks!

SuperViperT302 : Just hit ok on the Bios error, and the game continues to run fine. Although the game itself seems to be ported strangely and has a lot of issues with "flickering"

I tried Mednafen and didn't experience any sound issues. (With pacman anyways.)Is this sound issue only happening with specific games?

If you are talking about the crackling, thats due to the fact that it's a GBA game, and the sound on the game itself isn't that great, thus does not emulate well.

Although I'm a little confused about your post. First you say that VBA doesn't work for you, but then at the end of the post, you say it does?

Jordanv78 : This is Namco Museum 50th Anniversary for GBA. The same emulator also runs Namco Museum for GBA. The two are completely different games.
And I guess I can try again. Thanks.
The sound issues are easily noticeable on Galaga, but other games have them too. Galaga's background noise would be completely silent, and some sound effects would sound off, as would other games do.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try again and let you know what happens. Also, sorry for being so late.

This problem was fixed a while ago by a change in vba-over.ini file.

It will probably still have sound problems when using the Mednafen emulator, so I'll mark that emulator as having sound issues.

As for VBA, the problem should be fixed.

CLOSED EXCLUSIVE:

edit: let me know if there are still problems, thanks.
