I'm trying to figure out which final fantasy is the best game as far as graphics and storylines go. On Nintendo DS. I've purchased FFIII but I feel like maybe I should have chosen a different one. Which one do you all think I should play?

Well its all about opinion really. I played FF2(which is 4 on ds) on the super nintendo back in the day and to be honest it is my second favorite final fantasy aside from the nintendo version of final fantasy 3. Play through FF3 the class change system is very fun. Please dont buy crystal chronicles i think it is hindering the look of all final fantasy games period. Actually I think it was intended for little kids imo. Stick with FFIV or FFIII both amazing games

I'd say FF4 on the DS only reason being it has a fair amount of challenging bosses and also new game+ mode to fight the hardest boss in the game.

I'd say FFIII. FFIV is a bit overrated imo, and definitely unbalanced in terms of difficulty, not to mention the augment system is a step back from the GBA version.

However, the one I recommend the most is FFV or VI for the GBA.

Either FFVI or FF Tactics A2. Both will provide you with hours of RPGing fun. Tactics A2 is very customisable, if you're into that caper and has a massive play length. The graphics on both games are impressive, too.

I liked ff4 and tactics for the ds the best because tactics is long if you do the side missions and four is my thrid fav final of all.

I say final fantasy crystal cronicles echoes of time. It has a bunch of hack-n-slash elements but the dungeons are really like what final fantasy is. The graphics are also kinda cool and the online part is awsome, you get to play with people that has it for the ds or wii.

I've never played any DS FF games(I don't own a DS) but I can tell you that I've played the original FFIV, and I loved it. So, I suggest FFIV remake would be a good idea. I wish I could play that actually lol

Final Fantasy IV because it was very challenging, and they had voice actors! Plus, it was a fully 3D remade version of the original one, so it made it all better! It had really good cutscenes too!
