This Hollywood movie was great, sadly I can't say the same for the game. When you start the game, you play Arnold Schwarzenegger's character and are in a jungle. Your only defence FISTS. This really got me going because, in the cover of the game, he is holding a GUN. What's up with that? The other downside is, you can't hit enemys while crouched. (most of the enemys are small, so you have to jump over them) But, if you are wondering, the game does have wepones, but in order to obtain them, you must go almost completely out of your way. One of the first wepones you get are gernades. And they are the worst. The problem is the don't explode instantly, and therefor, the enemys can run away. But the graphics are pretty good. (aside from the fact that Arnold is wearing a PINK uniform!) (somrthing i forgot to mention, the gernades explosion range is VERY small) On level 3, you will be able to pick up a gun. But the gun says Laser. (when did he use a laser gun in the movie?? did he ever anyone tell me for 20 viz) The gun does shoot all the way off the screen and you can shoot crouched. But the game uses wepones you pick up as special items, meaning if you beat the level, you lose it(not cool). The thing I found the most irritating was that most of the blocks or things that look like platforms aren't stable. You jump on them and fall right through and die. And I couldn't figure out which is which until I landed on them. And the game has the most ridiculous enemys you have ever seen! Like; Amebus,seahorses,jellyfish, and ghosts. Where are they in the movie (as well as on land??) Anyway,The boss's. YOU CANNOT KILL THEM WITHOUT A GUN!! That's right, fist are useless and so are gernades. When I got to the predator and killed him, I thought I won. But guess what, they added 9 more. Ok, that's very annoying.



Gameplay:4/10 not very good, mostly jumping on blocks while enemys nock you off.

Graphics:9/10 Actually, I found the graphics satisfiing. Everything was well drawn, and You could even see some of the characters features clearly. (in some cases eyes)

Boss fights:3/10 They sucked. The only thing the boss's did was jump in place, and could only be killed with guns.
(fists can do it but you will (90%) die

Fun Factor:1/5 It never sucked me in.

Ending Rating:3/10 So, you beat the game and are expecting a good ending. Here it is. GOOD WORK! You have succesfully defeted the terminator, well done. I think theres more but that's pretty much it. (and some credits, not sure, I din't see it all, I was ticked off)

The verdict: Stay away from this game unless you are collecting NES games to sell(or destroy bad ones, add this to your list). But it is a great challenge game, and if you like good challenges and don't like fighting bosses, then this is the game for you.

Very nice review did you add it to the game room? I just saw Predator last week and yea the game sounds really odd. Arnold arrived in the jungle with guns not just fists. And as to why he was wearing pink that makes no sense whatsoever except to maybe stand out like a sore thumb

As I recall he didn't use a laser that was the Predators weapon... This reminds me a lot of the Home Alone 2 game where there are flying pizzas and brooms attacking you... whoever made these movie based games must be on something because there are many more titles for NES with the same random stuff added in.

I've always been kinda creeped out with those cavern stages in the game.

Though I actually liked those side scrolling levels where you shoot "bubbles" you ever seen the part in the game where there's a fist icon on the top of the ledge and if you pick it up you're f***ed?

David: No, I meant my DS game review. I know this game is on vizzed, I sort of don't have a NES and had to play it here. But the ds one is on GYR and not here, so i put the review up in this forum.
