In the year of 20xx, a great arena was built, with purpose of finding the greatest warrior in the universe.
Nither here, nore there, The Battle Nexus opens up to reveal battlegrounds from the farthest reaches of time and space. Fighters could find themselves fighting in the heart of a dying star, battling in the legendary Mushroom Kingdom, each with there own twist to the fights. In extreme cases, the Nexus would change the battleground mid-fight, turning the battle upon it's head at a whim.
The few beings who could find the Nexus could watch the battle from the arena's multivison set, showing the fighters at any instant they wish.
It was closed down due to health violations. (Friggen rats)
Recently, a strange being has remodeled the Nexus to full function. Under new ownership, the arena is now an open battleground once again.. Warriors from across time, space, and even dimensions have gathered here to battle
for fame and glory.
You, are invited and chosen to participate in the new era of the Nexus. Only the greatest of the great can claim the title of "Champion".

Basic Info

Character Creation
Anyone can enter. Need the usual stuff:
Name:
Description:
Past: (Not required)
A character can pick 1 weapon, 1 attribute, and 2 ability to start.
(if they choose, they may use the ability slots for weapons, and vice versa)
They can increase the number of weapons/abilities at a in-game store
after a certain number of fights.
Abilities get stronger the longer they are not used in the fight.
Charge increases by one per user's post (E.G, if fire control isn't used for 3 posts, the "charge" is +3)
Abilities range from the rather obvious (Water control, flight, etc) to more exotic (Turn ghost, gravity control, chicken summons...)
Ability can be combined to make something new (Earth control + Add health = Earth Golem)
Weapon's are suggested from the user, and have to be approved beforeentry,
They can be combined with an ability to increase the effectiveness
(A fire arrow can be controlled by a fire user. A normal arrow can be
SET on fire, then controlled from there.)

Arena and Fight rules

Fights take place in various arenas, and the arenas can change how a
fight takes place. Example: a location full of water (Say, Orange Ocean), will greatly help someone with water affinity, and a fire
user will have a lot of difficulty. Would be quite the opposite in a volcano area.
A fight will take place once two fighter agree to an arena, time, and risk (Optionally. You may "bet" on who will win). The fights require a "fight judge" to determine if something
was fair or not, and if someone has won the battle. After a fight,
the winner gets experience, 100 coins, plus whatever the amount was betted on the winner. If it's a fight for rank, then the winner moves up a rank. The loser gets experience, though not the amount of the winner, and gets 25 coins if they survived the fight. 10 coins if they died, (but they get better imminently. )


Fights work as follows:
*Faster fighter posts first
*Each post will tell an attack on the other fighter, or other action preformed.
*Once posted, they have 5 minutes to make minor changes to
the post. After that, they cannot edit the post to change the action
(Time travel prevention)
* A poster cannot change what another poster did. (E.G, if a fire is
started, a poster cannot say "Before the fire is started I throw
water on the place it would be") Once an attack occurred, the
attack cannot be prevented from occurring.
*However, The poster can try to deflect, avoid, or counter the
incoming action, and perform there own. (Creativity encourage)
*Damage will be taken and calculated by the Fight judge, who will
post the standings after the moves (Prevents sandvich posting. )
*If a move is ignored by the attacked fighter, it is assumed that it
hit completely and they take full damage.
*if a poster does not post within 36 hours of the previous post, they forfeit the fight
automatically.
Almost anything goes aside from those. Heck, use the audience for
ammunition for all I care.
Lastly, the Fight Judge may make things more.... interesting.. as the fight commences.
The fight Judge can ask the fighters to "do something" in a private message before the contest starts. This requirement is anything, from "Use your ability at 7+ charge", "hit the opponent at least 3 times with your weapon", or "Take at least 2 blows in a row"
If the fighter succeeds, they'll get a 25% boost in coin payment, win or lose.

Rank Battles

Rank Battles are how you move up. A person can ONLY challenge
fighters one rank above to a rank battle.
If a rank battler does not agree, or cannot agree, the challenger may
challenge the rank above that rank (e.g, #5 challenges #4, if 4 says
no, 5 can challenge #3)
If 3 rank request are denyed, then they lose 3 ranks, (#4 goes down to #7)
Ranks range from "Champion" to "Aspiring challenger",
with all sorts of ranks in between. Higher ranks mean better living
quarters and more fame. Lower ranks have to deal with partially
operational light bulbs and a lack of fame.

Shop Basics

Once they have enough experience, they can enter shops to spend coins
to improve the character's stats and buy new weaponry/abilities.
Fighters need to be certain levels to buy new weapons/abilities. They
get exp from fighting others and training in training rooms. The
higher power of the item, the more exp required to get it, and the
higher the cost.
Example:
THE BACON NECKLESS OF SUPREME POWER! Allows combatants
to summon meat streams to throw at there opponent. Very situational,
but could come in handy. Level 3, required 400 coins.
Ability slots come at "5"'s ( level's 5,10,15,105, ect),
and weapon upgrades come at set intervals.

World Exploration:

If you're not scheduled for a fight, you can walk around the Nexus
to talk to fighters, enter arenas, and train against NPC's for the
next battle. Explorers can find new arenas, training areas, and
shops.

No telling the other person what they did, and no time travel (5 minute edit window, past that, post is unchangeable). Can't see a way out, you take damage. Fight Judge decides if damage was take and which moves are fair. Opponent out of HP, you win. Opponent gives up, you win. 100 Coin to the winner, 25 coins to the loser (10 if they dieded) 50% bonus if you completed a fight judge challenge., EXP gain depends on fight length and how you did (More attack+Winning= loads of exp)
Spend coins at the shop, train at the simulators, buy some ice cream, yada yada yada whatever, explore the Nexus, find stuff, and scout for terrain. Rank Battle's to move up for comfy beds and better breakfasts, Bother the person above you until they say yes or no, and bother the next
person accordingly, MOVIN' ON!
Ability Idea list:
These are ideas. Feel free to make your own, but ask a fight judge if the ability is okay.
"combination" abilities aren't allowed. Stuff like "complete elemental control" wouldn't be fair to single element users.

Air Control: Manipulate Air, create winds, and floating. More charge, more gust.
Add Health: Increase the health count of the user, or something else. May be used to create creatures to aid you in battle (4+ charge)
Blast Creation: Cause things to explode at will. Takes a LOT ofcharge (5+).
Charm: Recrut a nearby creature to fight for you. Doesn't work if the arena has nothing to charm.
Cheer: Self/team buff. Attack power increase, at high charge(4+), health recover
Chicken Summons: Summons a chicken. Choose if cooked, angry, or counter chicken (Heal, attack, Cocco Swarm if hit 5 times)
Doom Bringer: 3 posts later, the world will crumble, and all unprotected players die except you. Charge requirement is massive (10), and canceled if defeated. Lastly, and you cannot move while using this ability, leaving you WIDE open for attacks
Derp'ed: If it works (75% base), player's eyes become crossed for turn charge, increasing chances for failed actions(33% chance for failure, 10% chance for EPIC failure). If it fails (25%), you become Derp'ed for 3 turn, so be careful!
Electricity Control: BZZRRT! (Zap foes, paralyze, even minor lightning control if stormy. More charge, more ZAP!)
Enlarge: Grow in size. Increase damage and defense, but makes you much easier to hit. 2 charges per turn, need 4 charges to start.
Excellent!: Boost the effecenty of the next attack you make by charge amount +3. One use per 4 user posts
I Forgot: A forgotten ability that takes up a slot. Totally useless....
Fire Control: From Kindle to Volcano, the power of fire is yours! (More charge: More Control. 9+ can summon a volcano)
Goopification: Turn yourself into a living, liquid-like goop. Attacks are less effective and easier to dodge, but you gotta slop around until it wears off, which makes attacking difficult.
Hatman : HATS, HATS, WHO WANTS HAAATTTSSSS? (Type a sales pitch to sell hats. If success, you get 5+ charge coins. One try per fight, and can't be used to attack)
Heat Control: Adds or removes heat from things. removing heat from water makes it ice, adding heat to metal makes it melt. Charge amount affects efficiency
Ice Master: Create ice, throw ice, crush ice, etc. (more charge, more ice)
Jump Master: DO THE MARIO! (Swing, your arms, from side to side... High jumps, Jumps ignore gravity, Jump to anyplace on the map)
Kicker: Increases Leg strength for a set amount of turns
Light Control: Add/remove light to places, light spears, etc.
Mega Mode: Increases all stats for a certain amount of turns. Requires 3 charge, lasts 3 turns

Attributes Idea List:

Aggressive: Increases Physical damage by 50%, both done and taken
Barterer: Decreases cost of items and abilities.
Charger: 3 charge per 2 turns, (1,3,4,6,ect)
Donor: Increases chances that a recruiting move will work (charm, mind control, bribe, ect.)
Elementalist: Boosts Elemental damage and defense by 50% Consistent: Cannot change mentality. Immune to mind control, DERP'D, ect.
Worrier: Concerned about everything. add an extra turn requirement to everything
Zany: Ignores physics when funny, and ONLY when funny.

Past: Roger was a humble boy who grew up in a tough neighbourhood where he learnt how to battle. Now he has no job and wants to test his abilities in the ring.

Potential weapon: A boomerang.
Potential abilities: Ice breath: Freezes the opponent for a few seconds and after that the opponent will be slowed down. 
Ground shake: An earthquake will occur and which will hurt the opponent severely.
Potential attribute: Knight helmet: A 25% defense increase.
