The purpose of this short guide is to show how to easily beat Amazy Dayzees, where to find them, what you need to do so, and when you can do so. Beating Amazy Dayzees is one of the fastest ways to level up, and with the right preparation, can be one of the easiest.

In order the encounter Amazy Dayzees at all you must first have at least begun chapter six.

Preparation:
To easily beat Amazy Dayzees you will need at least 4 specific badges and to have at least 18 badge points. This means you will have had to have spent at least 5 levels on upgrading your max badge points. You will also need to have Bombette upgraded to ultra rank. The 4 badges you will need are a Power Smash badge, 2 Power Plus badges, and an All or Nothing badge.

To obtain the Power Smash badge head into the Toad Town Sewers and head two screens to the left. Ride up the moving platforms and go through the pipe. Head one more screen to left and you will be in a room with two spike gloombas. On the left side of this room will be a chest containing the Power Smash badge.

To obtain the first Power Plus badge head into the Shy Guy's Toy Box. From the Blue Station head one screen left and you will be in a room with a chest containing the Power Plus badge and guarded by black shy guy called Anti Guy. You can fight him if you feel you are up to it, however he is a very difficult enemy and there is an easier way to get to the chest. All you have to do is give him a lemon candy. To make a lemon candy just have Tayce T. cook cake mix and a lemon. To get cake mix head one screen to the left of Anti Guy and you fight regular shy guys for it. To get a lemon head to Dry Dry Outpost and from there enter the Dry Dry Desert. Head two screens down(south) and you come across an oasis. There will be two large trees here, hit the one on the left for a lemon. Make the lemon candy and give it to the Anti Guy, he will leave the chest and you can get the Power Plus badge.

To obtain the second Power Plus badge head to Merluvlee's house and go upstairs. Talk to Merlow and you can buy it for 25 star pieces.

To obtain the final needed badge, All or Nothing, just head to Rowf's badge shop and buy it there for 100 coins. If the badge is not there leave and reenter Toad Town until it is.

Finding Amazy Dayzees:
Head to Flower Fields and from the giant tree go two screens east. There will be a tree here with a crazee dayzee running around it. Hit the tree to get a red berry. Head back to the giant tree and take the path to the southwest. Give the red flower the red berry and head left until you reach a tree. Hit it for a yellow berry and head back to the giant tree. Take the path to the southeast and give the yellow flower the yellow berry to unlock the gate. Here is where you find Amazy Dayzees.

Go to the right side of this screen and you will see two crazee dayzees running around in a patch of flowers. Do not beat the crazee dayzee on the right. When entering this area this crazee dayzee will randomly spawn as an Amazy Dayzee. Leave this area by going to the screen to the right and renter until an Amazy Dayzee spawns. If you beat an Amazy Dayzee you must head back to the giant tree and enter any other area then return in order for another Amazy Dayzee to spawn. Do not worry if an Amazy Dayzee runs away, Just leave and renter using the same screen you did to spawn it and it will reappear.

Fighting Amazy Dayzees:
Now that you are properly prepared this should be the easiest part of the whole process. Make sure Bombette is your active party member, all 4 badges are equipped, and start the battle with a first strike with your hammer. After Mario has dealt 4 damage with a first strike have him use power smash to deal 10 more damage. Finally, have Bombette use any of her bomb abilities(Power Bomb and Mega Bomb give you slightly more time to do the action command) and if you get the action command right you should deal 6 damage killing the Amazy Dayzee with exactly 20 damage. Rinse and repeat until you hit level 27, the max level.

Bonus! What you can now do at max level:
Congratulations! You have maxed your level, by using this guide or by other means.(Probably this guide considering you're reading this.) Aside from the obvious stat gains there are other bonuses for having max level. We're talking about the attack badges! The attack badges are badges that you can equip that will let you defeat enemies outside of battle if they are considered "weak" compared to you. Now that you are max level nearly every enemy in the game fits into this "weak" category(With the exception of Dry Bones and of course Amazy Dayzees), and since you can no longer earn experience, you can use this to your advantage to save massive amounts of time. The three attack badges are the First Attack, Spin Attack, and Bump Attack badges.

To obtain the First Attack badge all you have to do is simply buy it from Rowf's Badge Shop. If the badge is not there leave Toad Town and renter until it appears. This badge will let you defeat enemies on the field by hitting them with your hammer and jumping on them.

To obtain the Spin Attack badge head to Dry Dry Outpost and from there enter the Dry Dry Desert. Head two screens left(west) and two screen down(south) and you will be in an area with blue cacti and a small tornado. Use the tornado the reach the badge. With the Spin attack you can defeat enemies on the field using Mario's spinning move.

To obtain the Bump Attack badge Enter the Toad Town Sewers and fall through the hole. Cross the water to your right and head two screens right. Go down the steps and head down through the pipe. While this room may seem empty, you can actually blow up the wall to your right despite there being no crack in it. Head through the hole and talk to Rip Cheato. Buy things from him and your third purchase will be the badge(totaling 192 coins). This badge will let you defeat enemies on the field just by touching them! It is important to note however if an enemy uses a tool to attack you rather than themselves, like clubbas and a few other enemies do, they can still initiate battle. The Spin Attack badge negates this, as long as you are spinning of course.

Isaac Dian : Hmm, Paper Mario is on the low-end of my to-play list but it does look pretty fun. I'll keep it in mind when I'm back on my N64 raid.
