Robopon Sun walkthrough

1:RoboponClasses

You probably think that robopon is as easy as pok?mon. But
Robopon is a lot more difficult. First of all, robopon have three classes: Arm,
Move and Boot. Arm types have the most balanced stats and are the best
attackers of the three classes. Move types are the speediest of the three
classes. Their other stats might be a bit lower, so you should equip them good
parts. (I`ll explain this later on) And the Boot type has the highest HP (Hit
Points, so their energy points) and defense. But you can?t equip them with
parts or software.

Parts and software

Two things which are really difficult but also useful are
parts and software. Every time you catch a robopon, they will be equiped with a
part and a few softwares. You can also buy parts and softwares in shops. The
use of software is simple: You can give your robopon up to three softwares,
which lets you use moves. But boot type can?t equip software, and your part has
to be big enough. Parts will make your robopon stats (attack, speed, defense)
higher and they have a RAM capacity. For example, if the robopon has a part
with 20M then it means you can give it two software1 moves. (Sunny has this
kind of part) When you get further in the game you can buy get stronger
software, like Fire2. But if your robopon still has the same part (with 20M)
then it can only equip this software. But if you get a part with 40M, then you
can equip TWO of this softwares. So if you want to know how much software you
can put in your robopon, then you mist take the number behind the name,
multiply it with ten, then look at your Ram capacity, divide the Ram number
through the result of your last sum (from the software), then you have the final
result how much you can put in your robopon. So, to put it simply:
Software number x 10 = S10. ? ? ? Ram
capicity number : S10 = how much you can put.

Enhancing Robopon

Enhancing is a lot easier than parts and software. If you
look at your robopon stats, then you could see:

100 EB for evolution

100 EB means hundred energy balls. Some robopon need 200
energy balls to enhance. When a robopon can enhance it says:

It’s shining.

You obtain 10 energy?balls after a battle with a person. The only way to use them is directly, and
if you don?t have a robopon in your party (you can have up to four robopon in a
party) that can enhance, then you can?t use them. If you battle with wild
robopon, or play a Genesis 5 game (look further in the walkthrough), then you also
could obtain just FIVE, THREE or even ONE Energy Ball. ?When they are ready to enhance, take them to a
laboratory.
But if you look at your robopon his stats, then you could
also see this:

No Further Evolution

That means your robopon can't enhance anymore.

Catching robopon

In many places in the robopon world, you will find wild
robopon. When you battle them a lot, then you will see that they can be quite
strong. The only way to obtain them is by catching them with magnets. You can
buy magnets in shops, or you win them after battles. But catching them is not
so easy.
First of all, if a robopon has all his HP left then they are
still very strong and hard to catch, so you have to make them weaker first.
Second, there are different magnets. Some can only be used
for weak robopon, while you need expensive ones for stronger robopon.
Third, not all robopon act normal. Sometimes, you will find
robopon where their level number is changed with IGR. This means that these
robopon are crashed (the letters stand for IGnoRing moves), so they will hit
themselves. They can also can get out of control, which means they use super
strong moves on you. But they could also blow up themselves, which causes them
to faint, which makes them a lot harder to catch.
If you catch a robopon, then it will be added to your party.
But if your party is full, then it will be send to the garage. You can access
it from your menu, then you must take the option robopon and then you can
choose to either store or take robopon in the garage with you.
If you catched a IGR robopon, then it will still act weird.
Then you should go to a laboratory and upgrade the CPU of that robopon, but
that costs 800 gold.

Battling with robopon

When you talk to a trainer, you can mostly choose if you
want to battle or not. When you are battling, then you have six options to
choose from:
Attack, Items, Defend, Change, Escape and Evade.
Attack lets you use a standard attack, and also software
moves. Software moves use EP (energy points) which means that if you don?t have
enough EP you can?t use these moves. The standard attack doesn?t cost EP.
Items lets you use items that you have with you, but you
can?t use all items in battle.
Defend lets you defend, which means you can?t attack but you
take less damage from attacks.
Change lets you change your robopon, but when you do this the
changed robopon can not do anything after he is changed. The next turn you can
attack again. Escape lets you try to escape a fight, but if you are not fast
enough or if you are battling with a trainer you can?t escape.
Evade lets you try to evade an attack, which doesn?t work
all times.

2: Chapter 1: Bully Bisco

Capri Town

Now you start the real game. Before you start the game, let`s
take a look at the intro before we begin. First, you see the producers of the
Game : Hudson and Atlus. Then you wil see some robopon: Zap, Boomer, Sumo and
Deemo. Then you will see the title, and random robopon will appear. For
example, it starts with Unix, then comes Viggy, then Gramps etc. If you press A,
B or Enter you can choose between two options: New Game or Set Date/Time. It?s
not very important to put in a date and a time, and you can always do this
later, so just choose New Game (unless you really want to do it).
The intro starts with you sleeping in bed. Then the screen
starts shaking and you hear weird sounds, causing you to wake up. You get out
of bed and walk to the window. Then you go downstairs and you see your parents.
Your mother asks if grandpa did wake you up again. Then your father says he has
got an important business trip to go on, and then he leaves and you will not
see him anymore in the WHOLE game (wow, we see dad for the first time and he
immediately leaves!). Your mother says she is going to the market, and she
suggests that you could visit grandpa (unless dad, we will see her later in the
game). Then she walks away, but then returns and she tells you to tell grandpa that
she will be back shortly. Then you hear Grandpa Hogle calling from the
backyard, and he says he needs help. You walk to the backyard, and you see your
grandpa and two battling vehicles. The vehicles get damaged, and then they
dissapear. Grandpa Hogle gets sad and he says that his latest experiment failed
again. Then he turns around and sees you.
But grandpa?s memory isn?t very good. He asks if your name
is Brian or Wally. Then you will react and then you can make up a name!
You can make up a name up to four letters. So a name like
Zack or Bart is an option, but Horace or Randy can not be done. The default
(kind of real) name for your character is Cody.
Then you may decide your birthday. You will probably think:
`Why the heck do I have to choose a birthday?? Well, that?s because you can
obtain a robopon after the intro and which month you decide makes the outcome
(I will talk about this a bit later in the walkthrough). So you could fill in
your own birthday, but you could also experiment with different months.
When you are finished, your grandpa says that he was just foolin?. Then your grandfathers mind
makes up and he says that he is leaving all his robopon research and his
company to you. Then he says he will also give you his newest robopon, and you
walk with him in his company. You walk to his assistant and Grandpa Hogle tells
her that you will be the next president. Then you walk to another room and a
door will open and a robopon comes out. It?s Sunny, and grandpa says that
robopon are living creatures, like humans and that you shouldn?t fight with
them but should have fun. Hey also gives you 1000 gold (which is the currency
they use instead of money).

The game now has officialy started! Now you have full
control of yourself. First, let's take a look at the controls. Walking is easy,
I think I don?t have to explain it. If you want to talk to Grandpa, walk to
him, face him and press A. Now you know how to talk with people! Grandpa will
heal your robopon and he says that the company has run into some bad luck and
maybe you could invest in the company when you have some money. When the
conversation is over, you could press start.

Wow, that's a big menu! It also takes some time to load.
Let's go through the options:
Robopon: Here you can look at your robopon. So if you look
at Sunny you will see its stats, parts and software. He knows one attack for
now: Firefist.
Tools: Here you can see which items, parts and software you
have. At this moment you have nothing.
Garage: If you have too many robopon or tools with you, then
other robopon and tools will be sent to the garage. Here you can store and
withdraw items and store/take along robopon.
Data: Here you can look at a robopon data, your own data and
Genesis 5 data. The Genesis 5 data is a tabel which shows how many times you
have won or was defeated when you were playing multiplayer. Robopon data shows
how many robopon you have and how many you have seen. Hero?s (your own) data
shows your location at the moment and how many gold you have, your name, and
your playtime. You also see your schedule panel settings, but you will learn
what that is later in the game.
Settings: Here you can choose if you want speakers and/or
battle animations on/off.
Save: You can save your game.
Title: This let?s you return to the title screen. Before you
can do this, you have to save.

Now you understand the controls, you should look around the
building. But before you leave the room, there is an item hidden around the bed
in the top left corner. It?s a tile right next to the bed.
When you walk out of the room, you must go through another
room and then you walk to your assistant. If you talk with her you can choose
an option out of three options. If you choose the upper you can see your
company profile, but the two other options (Communicate and Communicate with
Kiss) are only for multiplaying. You also can?t enter the door behind her desk,
but you can do that later in the game. In the plant right next to her desk is a
hidden Light1 software. You can also talk to the brown creature, but he says
something you can forget for now. ?
If you go downstairs, you will meet Carpenter Ken. He will
build new floors to your building if you have enough money. Every time your
building has 5, 10, 15 or 20 floors then it gets bigger. If you do that, then
you should go back to the title screen, skip some time, then go back and then
you should talk to Ken. If you did it right, then he will say that he is
finished. But if you did something wrong (for example, going back in time) then
he will say he failed and that he can?t refund your money. If you’re lucky Ken
is generous and he will charge you less money to make another floor!
For now, you can only build three floors to your buildings:
Floor 1 150?gold: item shop
Floor 2 200?gold: parts shop
Floor 3 300?gold: laboratory

The next floor costs 400 gold so you could come back a
little later in the game. The first floor is useful for buying items like
recovery items for your robopon and other cool stuff. The parts shop if you
want to make Sunny stronger. The laboratory is an useful place if you want to
enhance your robopon or upgrade their CPU?s. Although investing for research
can be useful later in the game, I would not do it now (and it costs a lot).
In the room where Ken is, there are also three hidden
softwares: Down1, Endur1 and Pulse1. They are in the blue closets, two in the
upper row and one in the lower row.

Well, that is a quick enumeration of the building. So let's
look outside the building.
When we look around, the first thing you probably see is
that you can't leave the town because four people are blocking the exits. If
you talk to them, you hear that the bully on the NORTHERN side took the ice cream
from the other kid. You can choose if you want to: `Stop an end to Bisco's
goons treachery?.
If you choose yes, you will fight with them!

Northern side:
David: Robopon:?Screwy lvl. 4 MOVES: Pulsebomb
Difficulty: 1/5
David is not very hard. One Firefist from Sunny should be
enough. Screwy ?s Pulsebomb is not very strong so you don?t have to worry. You
can also battle the bully on the eastern ↓
side.

Once you beat David, then he will walk away. But before you
can leave the town, you have to defeat the bully on the EASTERN side, because
the kid won?t let you leave the town. The bully is teasing a girl named Lisa. So
defeat him too.

Eastern side:
Sean: Robopon:
Stimy lvl 4 MOVES:
Windbomb
Difficulty: 1/5
Sean is not very strong too. One or two Firefists should be
enough. If you battled David first, then Sunny already is lvl. 6.

If you have beaten both bully’s (the sequence doesn?t
matter) then Lisa will say that there is trouble at libra school in Libra town,
the town east from Capri town. The local bully there, Bisco, is trying to judge
who has the strongest robopon. She says you should go there to see what’s
happening. Then you can leave town. But before you do, there are still a few
things to do in town. First of all, your house contains two hidden items! The
first one is in the computer in your room. It?s a Shortcut, an item which gives
your robopon an extra level without battling. The next item is difficult. It?s
outside the house, in the roof of your house. Walk to the top left corner from
you house (outside), press A if you face the roof and then you should have 10
Volt.
One of the houses, the one with the antenna can?t be entered
because the door is bolted shut. The girl next to the house says that since the
person living in the house has bought a tv he can?t stop watching because a
girl named Amron always is on tv. She appears later in the game so remember
her!
Around the two other houses you will find some weird boxes
which contain items: A Water1 software, ?an oil (heals robopon for 20 hp) and a barmagnet
(can be used to capture robopon) . The upper house is not very interesting if
you take the front door, but there is a hidden door if you walk to the left of
the house. If you look, then you will see a weird tile, which actually is a
door. If you take the hidden door from the upper house, then you can find an
item in a box which looks like one outside the house. The item is a Lostcode,
which is VERY useful because you can enhance a robopon with it without the need
of energy balls.
The lower house also has a hidden door, but this time you
will find someone before the box named Hunter.
Some of the boxes in the game can only be opened with a
remote control, which only can be done if you have a real gameboy and a real
game cartridge. Because I am playing on the internet I can?t do it so I will
never know what is inside these chests.
If you take the front doors from the houses, then you can
talk to some people. The two men in the upper house say some things which are
interesting for later, but if you go to the lower house then you will receive a
present!
The person in the lower house, Dr. Disc, says that he heard
that you became president, and he will give you a robopon as a present.
Dr. Disc gives one of these robopon: Robby, Viggy, Heylow or
Bella. The robopon you will get depends on the birthday you chose earlier. If you
chose January, May or September, you will receive Robby. He has strong attack
power and good speed. Robby has the moves watershots, psoak and soakshots, all
of these are water based attacks. If you chose February, June or October you
will receive Bella. Bella has decent attack power, but the rest of her stats
are low. Bella has the moves windvolt, flame and tshld. If you chose March,
July or November you will receive Heylow. Heylow has balanced stats with good
defense. Her moves are holysilvr, kisssilvr (recovers little hp), blessing (brings
you in the blessing status, which causes your attack/defense/speed to get
better) and healx (recovers a bit hp). And if you chose April, August or
December then you will receive Viggy. Viggy has high attack and speed power. His
moves are firehammer, novahammer and naplm, all of these are fire based attack
moves.
To make it simple:
Viggy and Robby are real fighters, Bella is the magician and
Heylow is the healer.

If you got your robopon, dr. Disc will say there are four
factors to make robopon stronger: Upgrade your CPU at the laboratory, buy parts
from the parts store, enhance you robopon in the laboratory when they are ready
to enhance and cram as much software in your robopon as you can.
Now you have done everything that’s possible, you can leave Capri
town.
When you leave Capri town, you can go to two places: Tail
Castle and Libra town. Tail Castle isn’t important for now, but you can go and
take a look around. I went to Libra town immediately.

Libra Town - the beautiful and comfortable research paradise!

Libra town is a good place to learn some new things about
robopon. Many people give tips about software, items and parts. And there’s
another house with an antenna. Hmm… strange. There is also a girl named Rena
from the Elite 8, a group of 8 girls who like to collect rare robopon, who is
looking for the robopon Gidget. Although you can’t find a Gidget for now, you
should remember this girl, because later in the game she will be useful. There
are also a lot of rare shops in the town, so here is an explanation of all the
stores:

Components/software store:
Here you can buy parts and software. There are many
different parts, but some make your stats much stronger, while others provide
more RAM. There are also many kinds of software to buy but you should remember
that some software will be more effective at certain types of robopon. Some
software combined create new moves and three software that mix very well with
each other are water, fire and thunder.

Item store:
The place to buy items like barmagnets, oil and volt. They
also have two useful items: Air-escape and ground-escape, which you can use to
flee from wild battles (air-escape) or from dungeons (ground-escape).

Repair shop:
This isn’t a real shop but more a laboratorium. The only
thing to do here is to talk with a guy who can heal your robopon for free just
like a pokemoncenter.

Laboratorium:
The most interesting of the four, you can do three things
here: 1: When a robopon is ready to enhance you can bring it to any
laboratorium to enhance. 2: Upgrade the CPU from robopon. This is essential
when you caught a wild robopon with the status IGR because otherwise it will
stay like this and disobey you. 3: Invest in the laboratorium. When you invest
enough the laboratoria will make robopon. Investing in laboratoria is expensive
and is better to do later in the game because near the end of the game the
laboratoria will make more and better robopon. The two best laboratoria to
invest in are the one in your own company because they make strong robopon and
the one in Tail Castle because they make two robopon who are only obtainable in
that laboratorium.

These are all the shops that you can find throughout the
game. Now I explained this, let’s go to the Libra school!

When you enter the northern part of the school you will see
David and Sean. They’re pissed of because you beat them in Capri town and they
want to beat you up! But then Bisco, their boss, appears and says that they
should back off. He takes a look at your ‘your piece of junk robopon made by
your senile grandfather’ and says that if you want to enter the tournament that
is held in the Libra gymnasium you need a participation certification which you
can get in the school. David and Sean say that Bisco makes a good chance and
that he could become a champion. Then he leaves and David and Sean decide to
guard the door until you get a participation certification. They block the exit
so you can’t enter. But then you receive a letter from grandpa Hogle. It says
that he invented something and put in the room behind your desk. So let’s take
a look!

Back in Capri town, when you walk in your building, your
assistant will ask if you are going to play Genesis 5 games. Say yes and walk
inside. You will see five robopon and a person. Each robopon will play a
minigame with you if you talk with them:
Speeder, Jumper, Shielder, Battler and Puncher.
Puncher is a game where you have to play against Sunny and
you have to punch against a boxing bag. There is a number above the boxing bag
which randomly changes and the higher the number, the higher your power.
Jumper is a game where you have to play against Rotor and
you have to jump from a hill. You need to stay as long in the air as you can in
your jump and to do that you need to press A many times from the moment when
you jump until you land from your jump.
Shielder is a game where you have to play against Virus and
you have to draw a card. Each card depicts a kind of damage (for example, water
damage, light damage etc.) which will hurt you. Virus also has to choose and
whoever faints first loses. Don’t worry, you won’t lose HP for the outside
world!
Battler is a game where you have to play against Sammi and
Muri and you have to battle them. The only rule is you can’t use items. After
the battle you receive EXP (experience points) just like a normal battle.
Speeder is a game where you have to play against Speedy
(LOL) and you can’t do nothing. You are just stuck in a maze and whoever steps
into a certain tile first. Very boring and you sometimes are doing nothing for
one and a half minute.

For every game you win, you will get energy balls and some
gold, and sometimes you even get cool items like barmagnets or earthworms (?).
When you have played enough, let’s continue to the Libra school.

Libra School

The Libra School is a very interesting place. First of all,
all the teachers are robopon battlers. Second, the school has a basement and a
gymnasium. Third, later in the game you can catch your own robopon here! But
for now you should remember the first two things.
Before you go in the school, you can challenge a girl before
the school. When you defeated her you can battle her again later in the game,
over and over! Here is her robopon:

Difficulty: 2/5
Little girl: Meddy lvl 5 MOVES: Lightsilvr (curses a
robopon, which decreases it?s hit rate) Kisssilvr (recovers a few hp) Vampsilvr
(absorbs hp from you to the?opponent)
This girl can be a bit hard because of her healing moves.
But a strong robopon shouldn’t have a big problem with her.

When you have defeated her you can go to the basement if you
want to battle trainers, catch robopon or collect items. I went in the school
first so I’ll tell later about the basement.

The school has 6 floors (7 with the ground floor) and when
you ask the people around all will say that you need a filled up stamp card
which you can receive from the principal. He is the green angel guy on the
first floor. To get the card filled up you need to defeat a teacher on each
floor. It takes a lot of time to tell about all of them so I will do it
shortly. There isn’t a specific order for the trainers to fight but the only
one you can’t battle until you beat the other teachers is the science teacher
on the 6th floor because he is doing an experiment.

Ground floor:
Difficulty: 1/ 5
Health teacher: Splat lvl 5 MOVES: Windbomb
Splat isn’t very strong. He is a bit tough but easy.

First floor:
Difficulty: 1/5
Language teacher: Coball lvl 5 MOVES: Skybomb
Coball’s skybomb can be a bit strong but coball has low
defense.

Second floor:
Difficulty: 2/5
English teacher: Leachy lvl 5 MOVES: Earthbomb
Leachy’s earthbomb is kinda strong and leachy is not very
weak either.

Third floor:
Difficulty: 2/5
Phys-Ed teacher: Palmer lvl 6 MOVES: Earthbomb
Palmer is the first lvl. 6 robopon. It is also immune to
thunder attacks so if you have caught a coball in the basement (I will tell
later about this) it might not be the best idea to use it.

Fourth floor:
Difficulty: 2/5
Civics teacher: Sumito lvl 6 MOVES: Eartbomb
Sumito is very tough. You already know earthbomb from Palmer
so I won’t explain it.

Fifth floor:
Difficulty: 2/5
Math teacher: Sumito lvl 6 MOVES: Earthslice
I am not going to explain this one because earthslice is as
strong as earthbomb.
Now comes the hardest teacher:

Sixth floor:
Difficulty: 3/5
Science teacher: Gello lvl 6 MOVES: Oilbomb ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Gello has a very high defense. It also knows the move oilbomb
that can make your robopon oily which causes your accuracy to be lowered.

When you have beaten the Science teacher you have beaten all
teachers! But when you want to go see the Principal, it turns out he went down
in the basement. In that case, we have to follow him!

Basement

The Basement is what you can call the first dungeon in the
game. With two floors, two items, three trainers and four wild robopon it’s not
very big but it’s a great place to get started.
First I will tell which wild robopon you can find here. You
will see that I divide the levels and moves by the / sign and I will explain
why I did that. The / sign for levels indicates that the robopon with the
levels for the / sign are found on the first bottom floor while the robopon
with the levels after the / sign indicitate that they are found on the second
bottom floor. Three of the robopon can be found on both floors, but one of them
can only be found at the second bottom floor. The moves for the / sign mean
that those are the moves you normally find on the wild robopon while the moves
after the / sign mean that those are rare moves, they did this on some robopon
who are boot types and don’t evolve into arm types, since they cannot have
different software.

Wild robopon:

Coball lvl. 2-4/3-5 MOVES: Skyshots, thndrshots, thund/
skyblade, iceblade, blast

Coball is a weird white-pink ball that according to its
description doesn’t like to fight. Although you would think that means he will
run/flee all the time, he actually is brave enough to fight most of the time.
Most coballs come with the thunder moves but if you find one with the ice moves
I highly suggest you catch it, I’ve found the ice moves more useful than the
thunder moves. Training it can be difficult as Coball has low health. It
enhances into Unix with 100 energy balls.

Pros:
*Strong moves
*Enhances quick
*Good speed

Cons:
*Low defense
*The snow moves are better than the thunder moves
but the ones who have it are harder to find

Sumito lvl. 3-5/4-6 MOVES: Earthslice, powerslice, fault/
earthbomb, stone

Sumito is a sumo trainee. He comes with tough earth moves
and unlike Coball he rather focusses on good hp and strong defense. He has two
evolutions, Sumo and Yokomo. The Sumitos that come with earthbomb and stone
aren’t much stronger than the ones with the normal moves, so it’s not that big
of a deal which one you get.

Pros:
*Good earth moves
*Good defense and hp
*Strong enhancements

Cons:
*Its special version isn’t much better than the
normal version

Stimy lvl. 6-7 MOVES: Evlupclaw, vacumclaw, rumda/ windmace,
tshld

Stimy is the toughest robopon to catch since all Stimys you
will find have a bad CPU. This can result in various things, if you are lucky
it will attack itself or it will normally attack you or it’s unable to do
anything but if you’re not lucky it will explode and instantly kill itself. So
if you catch one then be sure to repair its CPU at a laboratorium if you have
800 gold.

Pros:
*Good stats
*Both its normal moves and rare moves are useful
and strong

Cons:
*Its always found with a bad CPU, so its hard to
find the rare form

Sammi lvl. 7-9 MOVES: Fireslice
Sammi is the hardest robopon to find. It can only be found
on the second floor and it’s the only arm type that can be found. It has only
one attack and there aren’t any rare forms of it since it can change it
software. I suggest you catch this one as you arms type at this point are hard
to get and it has good attack power.

Pros:
*Good attack power
*Only arm robopon to ?be found in the Basement
*Good all round stats

Cons:
*Can be difficult to catch
*They come at a high level, so be prepared

Two items can be found in boxes, a Mega volt and a Gas1?software.

The trainers:

First bottom floor:
Joker: Chimp lvl. 6 MOVES: Pulsebomb, Rustbomb, Virusbomb,
Gasbomb
Difficulty: 3/5
Chimp isn’t very strong. Decent defense and attack power but
you need to watch out for its moves, which I will explain here:
Rustbomb makes a robopon rust, causing it to lose hp for a
few turns, and the robopon can not attack for a few turns. Virusbomb causes
bug, which makes the robopon confused so it will attack itself. Gasbomb causes
fever, which lets the robopon lose hp for a few turns.

Troublemaker: Rootix lvl 6 MOVES: Waterbomb, Icebomb, Sleet
Difficulty: 2/5
Rootix isn’t very strong. It has decent stats and some good
attacks but not much of a big problem. Watch out for its Slee though as it’s
effective against Sumito.

Second bottom floor:
Troublemaker: Unibot lvl 7 MOVES: Speedbomb, Accel
Difficulty: 3/5
Unibot has better stats, especially speed but lacks in
moves. Its speedbomb is a decent attack but you need to watch accel, it’s a
move that speeds Unibot up.

So, after you caught and trained robopon, battled trainers
and picked up items there is only one thing left to do: Talking to the
principal. He’s not hard to find, just take the stairs to the second bottom
floor, then you have to go up to the first bottom floor and then you have to go
down again and then you can find him. He will give you a participation
certification which means you can take place in the tournament! But don’t
forget, David and Sean are guarding the doors and Bisco is participating as
well. So before you want to go I advise you train your robopon and have at
least a team of four robopon. Enhancing can be useful as well, but the battles
against David, Sean will reward you with energy balls that you could use, so it
might be smarter to wait before you enhance them.

Now, if you want to enter you can expect a battle with David
and Sean. Here are their stronger robopon:

Gymnasium: David: Screwy lvl 7, Skulby lvl 7 MOVES: Screwy:
Pulsebomb ?Skulby: Evilbomb

Sean: Stimy lvl 7, Hyme lvl 7 MOVES: Stimy: Windbomb ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Hyme: Icebomb
Difficulty from both battles: 3/5
David and Sean now come with two robopon, their old ones and
the evolved forms, both are at level 7. The Screwy and Stimy haven’t grown much
stronger but the evolved forms can be tough if you didn’t train well. They have
good stats and their moves can be tough, so be prepared.

If you beat both guys you walk inside and you just see Bisco
winning the tournament! Then David and Sean walk to Bisco and say that have
been beaten and ask Bisco to even the score. Bisco then says that the winner of
this battle will challenge the Legend7!

There are 7 Legends and they are like what gym leaders are
in Pok?mon. Unlike in Pok?mon, they don’t have an own gym with pupils inside
but fight at the Robopon Dome in Tail Castle. They also can’t be challenged
until the person has talked with them outside the Robopon Dome and that’s why
many Legends are hiding since their position gives them might and more fame.

Now it’s time for Bisco’s Battle! Gulp:

Bisco: Urchy lvl 6, Razor lvl 6, Hexbot lvl 6
MOVES: Urchy: Virusbomb ? ? ? ? ? Razor:
Powerfist ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Hexbot: Evilbomb,
Fearbomb (causes bug)
Difficulty: 4/5
Unlike the other battlers you had, Bisco is no pushover.
It’s quite understandable that he won the tournament. His Urchy isn’t very
tough but its Virusbomb may virus you so watch out. Razor is all about power
and will deliver severe damage. Hexbot will be a bit of both: His Evilbomb
brings much damage while his Fearbomb can cause a bug. Hexbot also has a great
defense and although you can’t catch it in this game (it’s only available in
the Japanese versions) it’s a starter robopon in the second games. Be sure to
have a team of four well trained robopon as Bisco may be too tough otherwise.

If you have beaten Bisco he will say that he has gained the
right to challenge the Legend7 anyways and he says he will be first for you at
the Robopon Dome and that he will take care of you afterwards. The Announcer
will explain the rules of the robopon tournament too. Legends can be challenged
in the Robopon Dome but you need to find them first outside the Robopon Dome
and talk with them. After he did this, he won’t say something else and he will
twirl when you talk with him. Lucky you, there’s another teddy bear in the
corner! Don’t forget to save before hand.

So there’s only one thing left to do, going to the Robopon
Dome in Tail Castle! But first, you might want to build extra floors to your
building, and from 8 pm to 6 am the school lights will be out, which means
robopon will appear in the school! So let’s go back to the Libra School and
look which robopon appear. The wild robopon that appear are supposed to be
based on creepy things or have evolutions that are creepy except for the first
robopon in this list.

Wild robopon:

Coball lvl. 4-6 MOVES: Skybomb
I’ve already told about Coball before and I advise you don’t
catch this one because it has just one move.

Zombot lvl. 6-7 ?MOVES:
Evilbomb, Vacumbomb, Drain
Zombot is an interesting robopon. When you find him he will
be affected with fever which means that he will lose a little HP every turn. To
keep up with this he knows the move Drain and Vacumbomb to absorb some HP of
you, so be careful. It doesn’t have an evolution and as far as I know you can’t
find a version with special moves.

Pros:
*Drain and Vacumbomb are very good moves.
*Good attack and defense.

Cons:
*Is always found with fever so watch its hp if
you want to catch it.
*Is pretty slow compared to its attack and its
defense.

Leachy lvl. 6-7 ? ?MOVES:
Evilbomb
Leachy is a robopon that looks like some kind of bug. It has
two enhancements Boobot and Jackey. ?While
Boobot is a boot type just like Leachy Jackey is an arm type instead and thus
can be freely equiped with software.

Pros:
*Jackey is a pretty strong enhancement.
*A funny robopon.

Cons:
*Is found in the ignore status.
*Comes with only one move.

Screwy lvl. 5-6 ? MOVES:
Earthbomb, Pulsebomb, Mgnet
Screwy is pretty good. Its enhancements are very cool too,
Skulby the skull and Pirate the… Pirate who changes from a boot type into an
arm type. He comes with strong moves and good stats for a robopon that has two
enhancements. Mgnet is a move that can curse your robopon too.

Pros:
*Good moves, especially Mgnet and stats.
*Cool and strong evolutions.

Cons:
*Is found in the ignore status.

Recyco lvl. 8 ? ? ? MOVES:
Evilbomb, Fearbomb
Recyco is probably the weirdest of the bunch. He’s very hard
to find, just like Zombot a robopon with no enhancements, good stats and the
move Evilbomb. However, you will find it in the ignore status and it likes to
blow itself up. So it might take some time to get one.

Pros:
*Good stats and better speed than Zombot for
example.
*Decent moves.

Cons:
*No enhancements which sucks with just two decent
moves and no enhancements.
*Found in the ignore status and likes to blow
himself up.
*Hard to find.

That’s it for the robopon. So there’s one thing left to do
to complete this chapter. Going to the Robopon Dome in Tail Castle!

Tail Castle - historical and cultural town!

For now this place isn’t very important. There are a few
shops, people with tips and many people adore Prince Tail, the ruler of Porombo
Island and the owner of this town. Another house with an antenna? And hey, there’s
another Elite 8 girl! Again, you can’t trade for now. Go to the north and enter
the Robopon Dome!

When you come inside, Bisco will brag to you that he has
already beaten the Legend7, according to him a weakling. He will laugh of you and
you will get mad at him since you had the right to be the challenger. David and
Sean say that you should go him and that Bisco would trash you anyways. You
call him a cheater but he says that it’s already too late!

Then Prince Tail tells to stop this quarrel! Apparently he is
on a balcony with Princess Darcy and he says that you two will decide right
here and now who should be the Legend7!

Battle with Bisco the Legend7:
Difficulty: 5/5 (what did you expect?)
Bisco: Urchy lvl 6, Razor lvl 6, Hexbot lvl 6, Granit lvl. 6

MOVES: Urchy: Virusbomb ? ? ? ? ? Razor:
Powerfist ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Hexbot: Evilbomb,
Fearbomb, DKHRT (causes bug) ? ? ? Granit:
Landslice

As you can see, Bisco has gotten a bit stronger. Granit is
not a big deal since Landslice isn’t very strong, Granit is just there to make
your robopon tired. But you should watch out for Hexbot his DKHRT. It’s a very
strong move and one or two hits of it might be enough to scrap some of your
robopon. Also, Bisco has brought an oil with him and he will likely use it on
Granit so keep that in mind as well.

If you win, you can call yourself the Legend7! Bisco says
that one day he will get even and until then he will train in the town of
Caleyu. He then walks away with David and Sean. Don’t worry, we will have
another battle with Bisco later on in the game! But much much later…
Prince Tail congratulates you and tells the next Legend is a
teen idol called Amron who lives in Vanza Village. He wishes you good luck with
training your robopon and finding the next Legend.
When you walk out of the Robopon Dome you see Prince Tail
saying to Princess Darcy that it has been a long time since there has been such
a spirited fighter like you. Prince Tail has the feeling the ranks could change
dramatically…

What will happen from here? Will we find more Elite 8 girls?
Will we meet Bisco again? Will grandpa Hoggle invent something else? Will we find
more houses with antennas? And what about those two towns, Caleyu and Vanza
Village? Find out more in the next part of my walkthrough on Robopon: Sun
Version!

That’s it for the first part of the game and this
walkthrough! If people are enthousiast about it I will make more parts!

Some pictures of robopon and Bisco, I will make more screenshots for my next part:

Edit: For some reason I can't upload multiple pictures, can someone explain me how to do that? This is Bisco.

Edit 2:?http://www.mediafire.com/view/147vi73af6a78xe/Robopon_Sun_Walkthrough.docx This is useful I guess

Holy cow! This was great. It was very informative with no extra padding. I've gotta applaud you on this one!
Now I'll be all set if I ever get around to playing this game. (Also, catching robots with magnets? Genius!)

Great guide!

Only thing I can say, is that you might want to disable your layout for walkthroughs/ guides. It's sometimes a little annoying to scroll all the way down every second. None the less, the quality of the guide was great. Good job!

TheReaper7290 : Thanks, read the first part about my walkthrough and the shop parts especially, the other things aren't that important but it's really useful to read those parts to understand it better.

So far, so good. FunnyFurret already said this: it is recommended to disable the layout everytime you post a walkthrough, especially if the text window is really tiny (that is why I don't have any layouts, although I'd like to get one but I don't feel like removing it every month so yeah, no layouts for me ).

Now, about that first part. Like I said before, it's really good so far. All the details, the directions... I can see some potential and I can't wait to see the other parts. I read you wanted to know how to insert multiple pictures. I'm assuming you want to use some screenshots in the near future, which is good. I insert my screenshots one by one actually. If you want to know how I do this cool magic trick, I'll eventually make a special tutorial. Anyhoot, that's pretty much all I wanted to say so keep up the good work and make sure to "link" the next part to this walkthrough, it's really important

Laian : I understand what you mean, it might be better to turn off the layouts for strategy guides then. Could you tell me when you have made that tutorial? I screenshotted about 15 pictures I believe so it's sad to see I can only get one in my guide Anyways, thanks for the advice, I will link this part in my next part of the walkthrough
