Overall: 8.5; I have chosen to give this amazing game an 8.5, for the fact that it indeed was awesome and amazing, but at the same time there are aspects of the game that are not so great... Such as depth and difficulty. As far as story, graphics, and sound go though, they where amazing. I'll get into why each of these things I say they are, are for me.
Graphics 9: The graphics in this game, are just, just AMAZING. Extraordinary compared to previous Pokemon games. The fact that it is now played on the NIntendo 3Ds, and is now in 3D, makes it even more amazing. The game now has different angles, some scenery, and is very detailed. This new style of graphics makes the game very entertaining and enjoyable. Why did I not give it a ten you ask if I think it's so amazing? I gave it a nine because there are other games out there with better graphics, AND there is always room for growth and development, and I do not believe the Pokemon series has reached its peak of evolution with graphics.
Sound 9: I have chosen to give the sound a nine rating, because the sound was very fitting. How so? It was very fitting for the different environment, cities, and scenery. For fairy quiet, safe, and peaceful cities, they gave fitting, quiet, peaceful music, which gives you a sense of comfort, and peace. For more mysterious cities, they gave it peaceful music, but with a bit more mystery incorporated into the cities music. But I only gave it a nine, because I'm quite sure other games have better music, and like I said with graphics there is always room to grow, and I do believe the Pokemon creators (Gamefreak) could do better with the sound they
select for their Pokemon games. Don't get me wrong, the music is good and fine and dandy, but, however, they could do better (in my opinion anyway).
Addictiveness 8: I have chosen to give this game an addictiveness level of 8, because the game was really addicting. Since the graphics where new and improved, the story quite amazing, and the sound as fine and dandy as ever, you just wanted to keep playing, and with all the new things implemented, you would want to keep going and going to see the next part in the story, to see what other new features there are, and what cool new music has been implied. Some things that have decreased my ratings for the level of addictiveness, however, is the lack of difficulty. The game was far too easy, so you could easily just blast through the game. It wasn't like you lost and had to go fight one of the leaders again, creating the game more addictive, or having to train your Pokemon a lot, no, you could just ease your way through the game. Another thing with the addictiveness, is the depth. After the game is complete, there is hardly anything to do. Therefore, the addicting aspect of the game is now gone, after the game is over. However, this is a game I am likely to play again, cause in fact it is an amazing game.

Story 8: I have chosen to give the story level an eight. The story line was very good, consisting of the villains, of course, this time it being team flare. A group of people who want to make the world a more beautiful place... But how do they attempt to achieve their goal? Oh yeah lets just go kill a bunch of people and Pokemon to make it more peaceful and what it is really meant to be, beautiful. That aspect is sorta silly, and kinda decreases my rating, but that doesn't make it a bad story. The story after game, however, isn't much, which is saddening, cause after the game is over I'm all excited to do the after story and see what's next, and it's like all there is is a few things, and that's it, unfortunately.
Depth 6: The depth is one of the main things that pulls my rating of this game down (the other being the difficulty level). It offers a lot, but the difficulty also takes affect here. The game is quite a lot, but you can just blast through it due to there being practically no skill level needed to complete this game! Also, another bone to pick. Everyone, well, practically everyone, looks forward to the after story. But in this game, there is hardly any after story. You do a couple things, and that's it. Of course you could go and try to go see, and obtain all the Pokemon, but still. Hardly any after story, and an easy plot causing the depth to be less than what its cut out to be.
Difficulty 2: This is the other aspect of the game that weighs its rating down further than it could have been (first being depth). I have chosen to rate this game's difficulty a low 2 because it is extremely easy. And I'm not just saying that. Anyone could beat this game. I'm not over exaggerating, I literally mean I think a three year old could beat this game. Maybe it was intended to be that easy so it would appeal to younger (younger than 9, 10, 11, 12) so they would earn more money? I don't know. But whatever the reason may be, this game is entirely TOO EASY. Come on Gamefreak, you can do better. Also one thing that is with the difficulty, relating to depth. Since the story is so easy you would expect the after story to be harder, more challenging, and more exciting... But NO. Not at all... There is barely anything for the after story, and what there is, for the after story, is just as easy, unfortunately...
