I think the best Game sytem is the Nintendo 64 it has lots of good games and a lot of crappy ones to plus it totaly defeated Sony Playstation in my opinion

Both I and Rating Giant IGN consider the Nes to be the best system. It's innovative (compared to the Atari System at the time) graphics and snappy titles make it the biggest leap in the video gaming industry. After all, without it we wouldn't have Final Fantasy, Metroid, Metal Gear (Solid), various Mario+Luigi titles, Legend of Zelda, Kirby games, Fire Emblem, Castlevania, Mega Man, etc,etc,etc.

I think the Wii is the coolest, the NES had the best game linup, but my favorite console is the Genesis. I great balance of both.

My favorite video game console of all time is probably the SNES followed closely by the Sega Genesis....the SNES had a kit if great RPGs that I enjoyed like Chrono Trigger and Mario RPG....The Genesis had all the Sonics which are great games as well as Phantasy Star IV.

I agree with a lot of posts on this thread The NES blew Atari and everything else on the market out of the water at the time. and it's STILL widely popular as so many of these awesome people have demonstrated to me I still rock out my little grey box of nintendoness from time to time with the few games I still have remaining (: so Nes it is for me
