Yes they are very pointless even when I am in first I can still see fine even when my screen is like 1/4th covered up. I think they need to cover more of the screen like maybe just a few small spots you can see through.

OMG, they make the game just SO hard.

I mean, we can't stop here. We need to petition to remove all them. Thwomps, Chain Chomps, the whole lot of them.

And all the racing competitors too while we're at it!

Not in Mario Kart 8, especially in split screen. They actually try to cover the screen. I can't really see except for the corners, you can't really see what's ahead. Though if you do have the gamepad as a map, it won't work as well. Other games are failed attempts.

OK, bloopers are really annoying in Mario Kart 8. Therefore they should be removed.

I think the Blooper is completely useless in Mario Kart, except for Mario Kart 8 as they are really annoying, but are very good weapons in online matches.

When I used to play Mario Kart DS, you could just use the map to see where your going. So yes, they are pointless in that game. On Mario Kart 8 though, those bloopers give you no mercy anymore, making them the most annoying thing in the game!

I definitely think that bloopers are pointless all they do is shoot ink on the screen. Sometimes this can cause problems but other weapons such as red shells, stars, bombs and as much as I hate this item blue shells are much more useful than bloopers.

Yes, I completely believe that bloopers are pointless in Mario Kart. All they do is partially block your screen which makes it just a tiny bit harder to see where you are driving. It would be better if it covered your whole screen for a little bit less time, just because then you could accidentally turn into a wall or do something else that completely stops you from going anywhere. However, bloopers can be helpful... It isn't very often a blooper is helpful, but if you are racing on a curse with many, many obstacles or a course where there are a lot of turns, it either makes the driver unaware of where the obstacles are at the moment or makes the driver turn too early. I know from experience . All this being said, I don't think it should be removed. I think it should either be made to be better or just there as an item that rarely helps you. Don't forget about the item block item which is obviously not a real item... Should that be removed too...? . Peace .

Especially in split screen, I've never had a problem with the Bloopers. In DS at least, they are more helpful to you than the CPU's really. They all swerve back and forth, causing them to lose a lot of speed. And at least it's better than the Coin item, that does practically nothing. I don't see them as an item that needs removing, though.

I don't think it needs to removed. It's just another weapon item in the game, just like the blue shell. 

They're pointless except for in Mario Kart 8, unless you don't have very good vision or you're new to the courses. When I started playing Mario Kart, bloopers were one of the worst weapons for me because I didn't know the courses well. After I got used to the courses, bloopers were pointless for me because I could still see everything I needed to.

While bloopers may be annoying when they damage us, they're useful when used on others'. They distract other players for a few seconds, which is enough to try to gain more advantage. If you have good timing and skills, you could make good use of it.

Skilled players may not get tricked, but it sure works on average ones.

I have never found bloopers annoying in Mario kart 8. It may just be me but they do nothing. I can still easily see what is in front of me when I am on the receiving end of one of them.
