Oh boy. The time I put into this, trying to figure out the fastest method. There was a period for about a week where I would be checking and making adjustments almost every hour.

Eventually I just couldn't bring myself to care about my stupidly high number of cookies, so I quit. But man was it addictive!

Edit - This outdated post suggests that I was at 24.6 B cookies per second at one point. I kept going for several days after that, so I'm not entirely sure what my true high score was.

I showed cookie clicker to my mom, and she was HOOKED! I stopped because I got the "one mind" upgrade. but she didn't, she never purchased that upgrade, and she kept going. right now, she's somewhere in the quadrillions. I also thing she's at 10-100 quadrillion cookies in the bank as we speak.
