I'm bringing you now another school thread. When there's an exam coming, I become stress about it. When I study about the lesson very well, when I do the exam, they ask questions but it has nothing to do with the lesson. I mean that they're some questions that you don't know well about the question. Sometimes, when I study and when I do the exam, I forget some of the lesson. Does this happen to you?

Of course this happens to everyone

Most people in the world cannot remember every single fact.(even though I do not need to study to do well on a test/exam)

And yes the exams do sometimes ask questions not even related.

Psh, I don't know what y'all are talking about, I remember exactly everything I do, study, and learn.
Just kidding lol. But seriously, I tend to remember pointless information, but I won't remember the 20 point question on my exam. When it comes to questions that aren't like the ones in the lesson, well...You just gotta answer the best you can

Yup, I do forget stuff. The weird part is: If you ask anything related to the exam before the exam, I'm not going to remember. Maybe some parts of it, but that's it. But when I get the exam and I start to read it, that's when my brain starts to work and like magic, I remember close to everything that I studied.
And also, sometimes is not the question that doesn't have anything to do with the lesson - Is the way the teacher/whatever ask the question, it makes you think that it has nothing to do with the lesson. That happened multiple times when I was in High School.
But there are times that the question has nothing to do with the lesson. I remember that I've always complained when something like that happened. It worked sometimes ^^

When we have a mathematics test or a history test they always ask you things that you can figure out with the stuff you learned but you have to think very deep. And of course, nobody remembers everything unless you've studied every day, which I did for a mathematics test (it worked, I got a 9!).

Uh. This doesnt really happen to me, but for the wrong reason. When I have a test, I dont study at all so when I take it, I dont really remember seeing any of the lessons in the questions, but I still manage to do all right.

It definitely happens to me, at least occasionally. I rarely remember every single detail from every lesson, especially since there is a large variety to my classes, and nothing is really the same, so trying to remember all of it can be pretty difficult, especially since I do not study, and now that it is the end of the year, I have little to no motivation to even pay attention in class. Luckily, the school year is almost over, and my last real day of school was yesterday pretty much. We have finals on Monday and Tuesday, and I do not think we will have a real class for the rest of the day after the tests are over, so I am pretty much set, until next year, that is. Of course, I plan to actually do even better next year, and I have been developing a better work ethic over the course of high school, so maybe it won't actually happen to me anymore.

That has happened to me a couple times. It hasn't happened to me so much that I hate it, but It has happened to me.

From what you wrote, it seems like the true problem is studying the wrong thing when it comes to tests.

It's happened to me before, and yeah, it sucks.

Usually though, it's only that first test that's tricky. Teachers generally follow a predictable pattern, so it's smooth riding from then on.

I did have this one teacher that was totally unpredictable when it came to tests, so I literally failed the first few. In those cases, you just got to study as much as you can and aim for as many points as you can.

As it turned out, others did as poorly as me, so the tests were curved. I actually ended up on the upper end of the class, so I ended up with decent scores.

It's just happens and I always feel proud of myself for trying to study. I always remember some things from the lesson's but sometimes it doesn't help when a part of the lesson you haven't studied appears on the test instead. I use to hate when that happens.

I think this happened to everyone. Not everything is all based on memorization so some teachers try to test people by making them think outside of the box. Anyone can try to memorize facts but it takes a lot of work to think through a subject.

I try my best to be thorough with a subject as much as I can but sometimes, it doesn't end well for me.
