Once we were going "steady" she told me they were not dates. They were " special time". I was sort of sad since I thought I had actual dates doing stuff like feeding ducks, walking around, going on pony rides and other cute stuff I never did with anyone before getting to that part.

So I guess I have yet to go out on a date yet. ^^

My first date was super cheesy and romantic. It was great.

I live in Denver, which is super close to the mountains. It's only about a 15 minute drive until I'm surrounded by these huge hills. There's also a train that goes around that area, for added convenience.

Anyway. When I was planning out my first date, I thought back to when I had a fieldtrip to Mt. Epaulet in the fifth grade, where we bunked for a week and did outdoorsy things. But the best part of the whole trip was the third night, when they took us up to the Observatory. The outdoor part was like this huge concrete platform built into the peak of the mountain, just out back the observatory proper, kind of like a huge back porch.

The view - was breathtaking. I couldn't believe how gorgeous the night sky was. Sure, I can go out into my back yard and look up at the sky, but it was nothing compared to what I saw that night. Nothing. There were more stars in the sky than there was blackness. We also saw a huge meteor burn up, it was like a firework. It was amazing.

So I thought, I want to share that experience, and who else to share it with than my girlfriend?
I couldn't take her back to that exact spot, but Green Mountain, which is a lot closer to where I live, was perfectly suitable. We left around 5 o' clock, and it took us a couple hours to find a nice spot close to the top. We were far enough from the city lights to see way more stars. When the sun set completely, it was just like I hoped it would be. It was beautiful. We laid on our backs on the blanket I had brought, and just cuddled under the stars for a couple hours, while listening to a playlist I assembled of my favourite love songs from the 80's that I was raised on.

And, if it wasn't already cheesy enough, we kissed when In Your Eyes started playing. ^-^

My first date ... going to make me fire up my old brain to remember something that happened so long ago. If I remember right my first date was a nightmare. It took me months to work up the courage to ask this girl out that I was convinced would not give me the time of day much less spend any time with said worthless person. She surprised me tho and said yes. Even wanted to plan the date out herself. I said ok and we set the date to be a week later on the weekend so we would both be free from school and school functions. I was 15 at the time and she was 16. Here date started out with me meeting her at church and sitting through a very boring service with a lot of yelling and amens being thrown around. After we left the church we went to a drive in movie and saw Aliens if I remember correctly. We had fun there and plenty of her jumping into my arms scared which made me very happy. We made out and then left from the drive in to go to a local burger place that was a few blocks walk away. On the way there her purse was stolen by some kids that got away from us. So being the gentleman that I was raised up to be I offered to pay for everything ( even tho by that point I already was ). We told the cops what happened and went to the burger place. The service took forever, the food was cold, and the dumb server that brought the food to our table wound up making my dream girl ( at the time ) wear her food and drink because she was really clumsy. She was super upset so I took her home. I kept telling her it was ok and that I had a good time with her and that I would like to go on another date. She tho was not having it and somehow it all became my fault. Her parents  freaked out on me and would not give me a chance to talk and explain or defend myself. So after a third degree speech on what a date should be and how to treat a young girl I was not so nicely sent out the door to walk 2 miles home. Needless to say we never went on another date. So in closing it was not a date I would like to remember nor one I would like to repeat.

My first date... hmm, it would have been in middle school, which would make it difficult to remember, as well as difficult to classify as a "date." I'll just answer the question according to my current relationship. We went to her favorite restaurant, a Chinese buffet. It may not have been über-classy, but the food was really good, and we still go there often. We have good memories associated with that place.

My first (and only date so far) was at a church prom. It was...awkward. But I still love the girl I dated. I can't love her in the way her husband could, but I do still wish to be good friends with her, and our interests are somewhat similar. I hope to find a girl like that someday and marry her.

Ah yes, my first date. This took place in January 2010, when I met my current wife. Thats right...my current wife has been the ONE AND ONLY girl that I have ever been with.

Anyways, to be more accurate, it happened on January 7th. I met her ( again, my current wife ) at work. One of our co-workers was actually the one who "hooked us up." But we knew we saw something in each other when we first made eye contact. Long story short, we ended up talking and eventually I asked her out on a date to the movies. I know that might sound original and lame, but after our first date, we never grew apart, and I don't think we ever will.

If you care to know about the movie, it was the first Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law.

After we madly fell in love in a bar (while being with mutual friends), we went to an Asian restaurant. This is when we realized we loved (rather than like) each other. After supper, we went to another bar where we passionately kissed all night long. One of the bartenders even dimmed the light over our table.

Totts : I met up with a guy for movie. It was really sweet and a lot of fun. We held hands and he gave me his jacket after taking my hand and feeling how cold it was XD, ended up with a nice almost-snuggle session. Had dinner and he called me to make sure I got home safe.

My first date was to the movies. It was a mall cinema, and it wasn't as good as a regular theater. However, it was cheap, so I didn't mind. I saw "Into the Woods" on New Year's Day this year.

My first real 'date' was in the local park. We were just sitting down talking. I think we sat on that bench for like 3 hours or so before I had to go home.

It was really sweet and simple, which I loved.

My gosh I was in eighth grade and she was in seventh. My Michelle.... We went to the movies. Her mom drove her, I, her little sister and her friend. It was November I'm pretty sure, it was cold out. But I have no idea what movie it was. I was more interested in trying to cop a feel really at that age. haha
