Do you have any plans for Memorial Day? Will you be sleeping all day, throwing some sort of party or going out somewhere? I plan on going with my friend to Governors Island which is a small island just between Manhattan and Brooklyn. I have been going every Memorial Day for a few years and it's a beautiful place. As the day is nearly over, I can now safety day that I have done basically nothing. I woke up, ate something, went outside for a few badminton games with my family, came back in, ate lunch, did some computer stuff (AKA: Vizzed.com), and I am just about ready to make General Tso's Chicken for dinner. So, I guess I can say that I have put waste to yet another perfectly fine day of my life. What am I saying, I didn't even have any plans for the day. So, I really don't celebrate Memorial Day, especially since I am having Chinese food for dinner.

I've had a day like any other.  I woke up, showered and did my laundry.  I played several online games of Madden on PS4 and then made fried bbq chicken breasts w/ chicken fettuccine while watching my Detroit Tigers lose 10-0.  I took an hour long nap and then woke up thirsty so I cut up a cantaloupe and ate some of it.  Watched some Bob's Burgers on JTV and now I'm messing around on here until the Pacers play the Heat later in the NBA Playoffs.  Also, I didn't have to go anywhere so I spent the entire day in just a pair of shorts.  It would be a perfect day if my sports teams would just win.  I just realized I haven't spoken to another person in days so maybe I should call someone, but I'm perfectly happy not doing that.

My day went a bit like I had planned. My friend and I picked up the ferry at 10 and it was a 5 minute ride. We went biking, hamocking, we went to the beach and we went to the barbeque things that they had. We were there for about 3 hours and it was a great time.

I went to my pool for the memorial day pot luck, and that was pretty fun, until it started to rain. That wasn't fun. After that I really just sat around the rest of the day. I was supposed to go to a baseball game but the rain canceled it.

My day was rather uneventful. For the majority of the day, I stayed on Vizzed, and I also watched some anime, played some games, read some manga, studied for my upcoming APUSH test, did some homework, and drank some water. There was no food until dinner time. We went over to my neighbor's and my mom grilled some teriyaki chicken, some vegetables, and I made some sort of rice dish (I cannot remember what it was called). The chicken was absolutely delicious. I was so overcome with how delicious it was that I did not have any of the other food available. I also might have had a beer. Then I went home and watched more anime. :3 Not very Americany, really.

The test that I am referencing is one sponsored by the Collegeboard, which is an organization that gives tests to the advanced placement students. If I do well enough on the test, I can earn college credit in the class that I have taken the test for. This is assuming you did not know that portion.
