Here's my new update of matches I've seen, re-watched or from which I have seen the time line on Google

Colombia-Greece: 3-0
I've watched the time line and from what I can see Colombia has spread out their points really well. With just a total of three cards this match seems like both teams did pretty well but Colombia sounds impressive even though Greece doesn't have a really strong team.

Uruguay-Costa Rica: 1-3
Another time line match. Oh god, this match was a huge turn-around. First half Uruguay in lead with one goal from a penalty. But Costa Rica definitely showed their strength in the second half. Two goals in two minutes for Costa Rica and another one near the end from the match. It seems that Uruguay couldn't take this as they have received all yellow cards and Maximiliano Pereira (#16) received a red card in the extra time. I haven't seen what he did but my parents described him as a 'leg sweeper'. Can someone tell me what he did?

England-Italy: 1-2
So far the best match. Both teams had great chances and I was cheering for Italy so I'm happy that I won.
Blubcreator : I exactly share your opinion on the English team, the usual old players did good but not good enough and they should give the newer players a chance. Italy always plays with precise control which is on of their strongest part and not only their attack but their defense as well was very good. Salvatore Sirigu (#12), the keeper of Italy did very well as he had to replace Gianluigi Buffon who is known as one of the best keepers.

Cote D'Ivoire-Japan: 2-1
I haven't seen this match completely but it was amazing that Cote D'Ivoire made two goals in two minutes!!! I don't know a lot more except this

Swiss-Ecuador: 2-1
I've seen a bit of this match, and Ecuador did pretty good but at the last moment they gave that goal away to Swiss but I have to say that Ecuador did pretty well and Swiss too.

France-Honduras: 3-0
I've seen the first half completely. I have to say, I didn't like this match because of all the fools that were made. Wilson Palacios (#8) from Honduras got a red card but Paul Pogba (#19) from France was very close to getting one as well. I only saw Karim Benzema (#10) from France his penalty which was a good shot but the rest of the match wasn't that good which disappointed me.

Well benzema pulled off a hat trick... kinda. They put his 2nd goal down as an own goal by honduras' keeper. And  they showed off goal line technology! YAY! it kinda looked goofy.  One second it said no goal the next it says it was.

Glad France broke their losing streak. But they definitely can't win the world cup without ribery or nasri

mourinhosgum : The goal technology is kinda useful but I like the new rule where they spray a paint to make a clear line and the paint dissappears in one minute, that's amazing and really smart
And I agree, France is missing its star players so it's going to be hard for them.

juuldude : It's like if you spray Aerosol on someones 150 dollar Addidas shoes. You can't see it but you've still put it on their shoes.

Also they use a foam spray that dissapears to mark the ground. The magic spray is something that numbs pain for minor injuries.

I'm of the opinion that it's the player's fault if they won't take a step back to let the ref spray.

Anyway, Germany vs Portugal - Final: 4 - 0.

Portugal's Pepe got a red card on the 38th minute, leaving them a man down all of the second half. Thomas Muller had a hat trick. Germany made Portugal's loss even more bitter, blocking Ronaldo's penalty shot in overtime.

Great start for the USA, 1-0 up after 31 seconds, a good goal by Clint Dempsey

Destifen : I was actually quite impressed by that. Thanks to Americas new coach Jurgen Klinsmann they actually stand a chance at making it farther than last time. He's absolutely amazing. USA is actually really lucky to have him. Meanwhile England is stuck with Roy Hodgson.

Oh god, Brazil vs Mexico was an amazing match! Especially the keeper from Mexico, Guillermo Ochoa did great, he made some spectacular saves. One of the best matches and Brazil did better than they did against Croatia.

If I were to choose a final matchup, it would be Brazil vs Germany

For the sake of Brazil hosting this and the olympics in 2 years, I can see Brazil getting favorable calls. Bias aside, Germany would win, in my opinion.

We did a pool at work where we blindly pick 2 teams from a hat and the winner gets all the money. The 2 teams I picked were South Korea and Argentina. Naturally, Im crossing my fingers for Argentina to upset either Germany or Brazil (possibly both) so I can win that money.

Im genuinely surprised that Netherlands smashed Spain the way they did in that match up. Anyone see that coming?

bobq : I saw them winning but in no way did I see them getting crushed that bad. Netherlands play rough but have good tactics. They play the ball hard and get the ball to Spains goal area as fast as they can and from there they take their time and take a shot when they have it.

Argentina most likely won't make it past quarters and you have no luck with South Korea. Sorry bud lol.

I want Brazil out because it would be so hilarious to see them out. Spain looks like they will be going home early tonight. Maybe tomorrow England or Uruguay will have the same fate. Italy and Costa Rica looks interesting now since Costa Rica did a big shocker on Uruguay. USA v Ghana and Iran v Nigeria were both dull as heck matches. Russia and South Korea was a decent game besides the fumble by the keeper. Reminds me of England's 2010 world cup keeper Robert Green when the USA scored the equalizer before the end of the first half. Brazil were very unconvincing against Croatia and should have beaten Mexico. All props to Mexico's keeper I have full on respect for him as that is the position I play in. Cameroon I reckon will get beat tonight against Croatia but I hope i don't have to eat my own words tomorrow. I would like to see Russia and USA go through as they could meet each other in the round of 16 which would be funny. Switzerland beating Ecuador was funny as I didn't expect much from them. Good on Switzerland.

Brazil won't win this world cup. It will probably be Germany,Netherlands (if they show up that is and play like they did against Spain and not like they did against Australia. They are very inconsistent), Argentina and possibly Chile.

My thoughts of the world cup so far.

Scottish soccer fixtures announced =) Dundee v Kilmarnock and Aberdeen v Dundee Utd and there is a new year derby. That is brilliant.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
