This is a game I just played today on vizzed. I really like it even tough I have not completed it yet.


If you only see the screen shots you might think it's just another one of those  bad games from the era of Not 3d? Let it burn in hell.



But hudson ( So sad..... so sad... to see you die.) was one of those companies that always took advantage of the new technology the right way. And that just shows in this game.



It's a lot different from the other bomberman games and after playing hours of the SNES and Mega drive games it's A lot of fun!

This is a great adventure game, and one of the first ones that I played. The Bosses are a great example, no silly made up things called 'cycles' you attack, and the boss attacks, you're always making moves against each other and dodging attacks, not waiting for the boss to end it's stupid invincibility rage like some Zelda Bosses so that it (stupidly) exposes it's only weakness. These bosses are open for you to attack at ALL times, and because of that, they are a lot more fun, and not so repetitive. I like these bosses so much more Than Ocarina of Times. though MM has pretty good one's actually.

The mini bosses have great AI for an early 3D game like this, and often manage to kill me, especially Orion, even though I've played the game numerous times.

It has a great story at the end, and opens up amazing possibilities that I wanted to harness for a Bomberman RPg, but I don't have time for that.

The Mini bosses where forgettable nobodies but were developed a lot better than most minibosses in games though their screen time was short. Gotta love Regulas. We need a game about Regulas kinda like Shadow had his own game.

The levels are done Very well in this game, open, taking advantage of the beautiful 3D environments. except for Blue resort, each level in each area is a little different than the previous, like level 1 taking place outside a volcano, and level three taking place inside one at red mountain. Same deal with green garden, and. . . the secret. . . .

I will always remember you two, Regulas, and Sirius, too bad you have so little fan art, but maybe it's for the better knowing how deviant art is. . . .


I personally was disappointed by it's seaqual, but it's still worth a shot, just get ready to. . . go backwards away from 3D, as the game tries to replicate the older bobmermans too much, making me wonder how they can call it a seaqual to bomberman 64 as it didn't even follow the formula, I mean, may as well call sonic unleased a seaqual of sorts to Sonic adventure 2. :/

The battle mode I really enjoy, I love throwing my opponents off the edge, oh, and red bombs. >

Basically, like Megaman, or Zelda 1, it's just a great, GREAT example of a balanced game that does everything above average, and I love it, I have the whole soundtrack on my computor, love Sirus's music.

In summary, if you want one of the best games of it's era, this would be it. Alongside Star Fox 64, and Super Mario 64, this game is a must, it's just not as popular because more people have heard of Mario and Star Fox.
