Aah.... Cena as the DR. of thugonamics. HE WAS AWESOME.... That face turn in 2004 was the worst thing ever.. WWE really liked being dumb in face turns in that year I mean really turning the legend killer face? Seriously? Nevermind that. I think DR. of thugonamics is better then the cena we have now.... 2003 RULES!!!

I prefer Cena as the Doctor of Thugonamics.

His gimmick was very unique, interesting, and one of a kind because this gimmick has never been used in the WWE. The way he spoke was difficult to understand at first but once you get used to it, you will understand what he said from his disses.
I also liked when several wrestlers would try to participate or have a rapping/diss battle against him. It showed how powerful Cena's gimmick was to everyone including the WWE roster.

Randy Orton's legend killer gimmick as heel was pretty awesome and convincing as well but that's another topic.

Meh, I actually prefer the current Cena to the Dr. of Thugonomics gimmick.

It's nice to see him roll out the gimmick on rare special occasions, but the guy is almost 40. That's a bit old to play up to a crappy stereotype of a rapper.

He's more genuine in his current role, and it's more friendly to the era that we are in.

I wouldn't mind seeing the gimmick return, but I'd want it on someone new or younger. It's just awkward to see middle aged men act like teenagers.
