The emulator for the Nintendo 64 game Glover is in a extreme state of disrepair.

First I'll start with the 1964 emulator problems: This version has a few minor flaws such as slight lag, the broken HUD images, and the fact that sprite images in the game appear through 3D objects, but these are simply aesthetic and have no true important in the game's performance and playability. What does ruin the game is the major glitch on the "very first" level of the game, where your ball either falls off the stage instantly (causing you to lose a life), or simply remains floating in limbo far off somewhere in the map, and without being able to complete the first level of the game, the entire game is unplayable, and this is in dire need of repair.

Next the Mupen64Plus emulator problems: So far in the game I have noticed a number of aesthetic failures within the game at the very beginning, with the sky box completely showing it's borders in the open menu screen, and the fact that it's also sped up. However this is as far as I'm able to look into the problem because there are no default button settings as far as I know of, and the ability to double click the screen and pull up the menu doesn't work in any way, shape, or form. Leaving me eternally stuck on the main menu screen, not even letting me get far enough into the game to select a save file.

I hope that this thread is met with immediate response, and that people reply. But in the end all that really matters is what happens to the game, and if it gets fixed. Which I really hope it does, because as a child hood owner of the game I know what a wonderful and unique gaming experience it is, and I want everyone to be able to play it. Please respond. Yours Truly MasterMuskrat.

I'm currently looking into fixing this - there are a number of ways I can look into, but going through all of them is really tedious - could you post a screenshot using the RGR Plugin and 1964 emulator of the part "where your ball either falls off the stage instantly (causing you to lose a life), or simply remains floating in limbo far off somewhere in the map"?

I'm thinking of uploading the European version of the game which should work better with Mupen64Plus, but I'm not sure about 1964. By the way the default controls for Mupen are listed at the bottom of the play window.

i personally have a recording device, I've recorded videos, put them on my youtube account, and put them on vizzed before. i can do that with glover because i think of video would show better. i'll have to put it in the 'user submitted video' section of the game page for glover though. i'll get it up as soon as i can.

i've got the video up. it's here at the glover game page: https://www.vizzed.com/play/glover-n64-online-nintendo-64-9015-game

or you could just go straight to youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCRq-khvYAE&feature=youtu.be

all
and all the game works pretty well besides this one flaw and a few
aesthetic problems. the game runs at good speed, great quality sound,
and the game controller configuration settings work fantastically.

if
you'd like i could go through and find any other glitches in the game,
all the cheat codes work so i could get into every level. and i know
this game front and back so i can get through the levels in a snap. it's
no trouble to me so if you'd like i could give you a whole data report
on the game no problem. respond and tell me what you think.

Does the game (in real life) use the memory expansion pack? Some games will not work in any emulators if it uses the expansion pack (in real life).
