I've gone ahead and added a new world to the Vizzed Minecraft Server. You can find the entrance to this new world in the Vizzed Ville Town Square. The purpose of this new world is to have a place to gather resources to bring back to the main world, this new world is not meant to live in or to create stuff in (except for survival purposes). For users who don't want to invest Viz/MViz to buy stuff shouldn't have to but they should still have to earn their building materials in some way.

A few things you should know about this new world:
-Difficulty is set to Hard
-You lose your items when you die
-There is no land claiming
-PvP is allowed but discouraged
-You should work as a team!

I found a perfect seed which is very well balanced and contains almost all of the biomes. This new world should have a wide variety of resources but it'll require that you do a lot of traveling to find and gather all these resources. It's very unlikely you'll do well in this world if you're not working together!

So once we get whatever we want, is there a way to teleport out of Genrody back to our paradise?
Because I don't want to get lost and my virtual feet can get pretty tired from walking.

I've been hoping for a survival world ever since the server started and I know I wasn't alone. It's great to see it happen. And the hills, wow.

Cooliogb : Simply write down the coordinates of the portal, and you should be able to find your way home again.

Cooliogb : There is a portal in Genrody that leads back to Vizzed but currently there's just 1 portal. Just bring a map or something, or place down signs to help you find your way back to that portal.

EideticMemory : Yeah this new world really offers something for everyone. It's got desert, snow, mountains, flatland, caves, lava, bodies of water, ice, etc. I don't even know what all it offers but based on the research I did for the seed I used, it contains almost all of the biomes.

I can only imagine the fun of working together to survive here, because usually whenever I go on a public server everyone wants to kill eachother.

Le edit I found out that I can't play MC at home past 1.7.2 because my graphics card needs to be replaced since I can't get up to OpenGL 2.1, so please don't delete me if I seem inactive. Eventually I can rack up the money for a new card. Until then, I just have to find a public computer.

This place is great so far, I found so many cool things, yet I also lost so many importanmt things as well.

You should post the rules for Genrody on the main minecraft page too I think, cause I didn't read the ones here and there's like atleast 6 of us that have claimed plots in Genrody including me. So I'd like to move all my valuables in my claimed area to vizzed ville and then abandon the claim if possible.
