I slip into the night
And into the cool air.
The moon is bright
And the weather is fair.

"I love a midnight walk."

I begin my nightly trip,
With no time to balk.
The stars are bright.
What a beautiful sight

A late night visitor follows me.
I turn around just to see.
A familiar young face
Who's trying to keep my pace

"A midnight walk?" He asks.

"A midnight walk." I confirm.

He takes my small hand
As we walk in the warm sand
As the ocean air
Runs through my hair

What a night
And an unknown couple in sight.
As they quietly talk
During a midnight walk
