I feel like this should be left open to a multitude of media. So, I will not limit this to just Anime, or Manga. This is open to all forms, whether that be Anime, Manga, Cartoons, or Comics. I personally think that the coolest character is Lelouch Lamperouge of Code Geass. I know that it is kind of lame to say him, since he is such a popular character, and he also does some seriously evil things. However, the way he does everything is just... so... cool. The way he slowly takes control of everything is fantastic. I feel sorry for the other people in his life sometimes, but he did do everything in the name of a better Japan (and he was also pretty bored). Anyways, without further ado, who do you think is the coolest character?

Archer from the FX Series, Archer.  He's a spy, he always wins, he has witty comments and is hilarious.  He always gets hot chicks and he drinks like a fish.  He has the best clothes, the best cars, the best tools, he can fight like a ninja, and he is the person I wish I was if I were in a cartoon.

If you haven't checked out the show, check it out.  It's hilarious, well written, has snappy dialogue, and will entertain everyone.  When my wife laughs at a program, any cartoon, I know I have something worth watching.

Well I would have to go with a character from one of my favorite animes, Hunter X Hunter.
His name is Kurapika and he fights with Physical and invisible chains that are created with aura.
He can also put a law on your heart,so if you fail to answer one of his questions correctly,you will be killed on the spot.

I would say shiroe from Log Horizon. He is even named "the villain in glasses".

Even though he usually never fights and is a strategist he is pretty awesome.

Especially at a certain point in the anime when he does something really unexpected to basically take over a certain thing.

For me it has probably been Izayoi Sakamaki from "Problem Children are Coming from Another World aren't they?" because from the start of the story he is automatically overpowered and is never afraid of anything. He could solve most of his problems with mere brute force.

I would still go with one of my all time favourites Shu Ouma from Guilty Crown he was a very fun and great character but as he got depressed and dark I felt bad for him and the ending for him with his power as taking out someones soul and using it as a weapon or an assist

spoiler : as Hare dies and he did love her and how he became somewhat disabled in the end and lost his arm

There are a lot of cool characters out there, but there's two that come to mind for me. One from anime, and one from a beloved comic strip that I think many of us grew up with.

The coolest character.. hmm.. I'd say Maka Albarn from Soul Eater. I think she's very cool character with her scythe, Soul. Of course there's more cool characters from other animes like Erza from Fairy Tail and Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach for example, but Maka is the coolest in my opinion for now.
