What games do you guys think have great stories? ?
For me its all the GBA fire emblem games (havent tried the hacks yet or the ones on other consoles),
yggdra union,
shining force resurrection of dark dragon
pokemon light platnium, (had some good events that led up to catching the legendaries although most legendaries didnt get an event for them which made me sad)
megaman battle network 6 (liked the story best out of all the other ones and the part after killing the last boss was kind of nice),
riveria the promised land
lunar legends (story was good but i think the ending kind of sucked).
cant remember the others ones right now. Also I've only played gba games so far and I will get to the other consoles later.
You can mention games from other consoles besides GBA I want to know about some games with some good stories?
love wanting to know whats going to happen next and how the story unfolds

Games with great stories?

Halo from Xbox saved the Xbox.  It's the best story out of a FPS and it was incredible when it was released.

Chrono Trigger is one of the best SNES games with story line.  It compares with Final Fantasy III as to RPG available for SNES.  Incredible game, great story, kiss your free time goodbye.

James Sunderland vs. Silent Hill in Silent Hill 2.  It's the best of the franchise and has a great story story.  I may have peed myself in fear when I played it the first time.

Lastly, no one but the greatest of gamers has experience with Grim Fandago.  It wasn't great from a standpoint of controls and camera angles, etc but the game was hilarious, challenging, and a boatload of fun.  It has never been repeated and it was extremely creative with a great story line.  You're a travel agent in the ninth underworld.  That is awesome.

Well, it may sound weird but the Robopon got weird but great stories. There's a lot of humor in the games, and the bosses vary from a hypnotizing TV-star, a leader of a children gang, a prince, a circus owner, an alien and even more weird characters. Other than that, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga has a great story too.
