Everest is a quick series of three books written by Gordon Korman. The series follows the lives of a group of teens as they journey to the peak of Mt. Everest. One of the kids is names Dominic Alexis, his older brother was on the team but he dropped out and after spending weeks at tryouts, Dominic was able to make the team. Dominic is 13 years old and was aiming to become the youngest to climb the mountain.

Other characters included Perry Noonan. Whose Uncle funded the team, Tilt Crowley, who secretly sends team issues to newspapers for money, and Bryn, a young girl who was injured at the end of the first book and was replaces by Samantha Moon.
The series is very dramatic and there are twists and turns every page. There is a ton of unique character development that causes you to follow each of their actions to the utmost extent, and no matter what happens, you enjoy it, whether the tent is flying off face of the mountain, the kids get trapped, or they lose oxygen. You will ALWAYS be entertained by this series. So far, this is easily one of the 3 greatest series that I have ever read and I give it a grade of 9.4.

Oh, I absolutely adore that you wrote a book review for vizzed! I actually was thinking I'd love to over the past couple of days, but I don't know that I've read a book recent enough (which is the type that can be reviewed).  Any books that I MIGHT have completed simply wouldn't be worth it.  Although you did just give me a good idea for a new thread. XD

What reading level would you say this book is written at?

Also, I didn't get much of a feel for the book, I guess. I felt there really was... two lines of how you felt about the book?  XD The rest was the most basic of summaries... almost like what you'd read on the back of a soft book meant for teens.  Maybe if you write another review, you can critique the book in a little more detail?  (positive or negative)

Singelli : Reading level is confusing. I'd say that the level itself would be 10-13, but most of the things that actually happen in the book aren't really that suitible for peopel; of that age.You know, death, sabotage, attempted murdder.

I think your review was great, I think I will read the book because I am a fan of Gordon Korman, as he wrote a book or two of The 39 Clues series, which I appreciated his writing in those books.

tyranit: Yeahp, he wrote at least 2 of the 39 Clues books. I think he wrote part of another as well, and the 39 Clues is my favorite series of all time. Korman is by far my favorite authir and I love all of his books. These are my favorite of his.
