So sexy prodeus in my opinion is weird. Because well like I mean like the game's good butt the story is like Japan japan japan that gives it a 1.The depth is just has lots of levels and levels and levels some you get by not getting the amount of stuff to complete the level (aka.mousEs,coins,miner robots)(you have to destroy them).The sounds sometimes get really weird like corn,penguin,Medusa and the bad guys.The game's difficulty is rely hard because the bosses the corn rapidly firers popcorn at you.the penguin keeps shooting bubbles at you.The graphics could be better but they are fine but don't make a remake of this game.

Here are some useful tips for writing reviews/commenting on games:

Spend some time with it. Try to get at least to Stage 3 before reviewing.

Consider it's age, it's platform and it's genre. Sexy Parodious is actually an excellent game for it's genre and time, and had some very neat concepts such as the mission/sidequest-based progression.

Do some research. The Parodius series began in 1988 as a nonsensical, off-the-wall parody of Konami's classic shmup series Gradius with some elements of Twinbee/Rainbow Bell thrown in, but by Gokujou Parodius/Parodius!: Fantastic Journey's release in 1994, it became something completely unique and different, implementing several weapons and mechanics from other shooters like R-Type and Darius and a bigger focus on co-op multiplayer. IMO, it's even better than most of the Gradius games.

Don't be racist. Japan has a very... special... sense of humor, and you have to apprecciate it to fully enjoy the Parodius experience. Also, Konami has an obsession with penguins. ?Don't ask me why.

And at last, but not least, be coherent.

To all the posters above, you should also consider the fact that the person who wrote this review is 8 years old, according to their account info..... The post is certainly indicative of it and supports that idea.

mypunkies : I understood most of what you've said, even though I've never played the game before. Japan has a weird sense of humor and finds stuff funny that Americans or Spaniards may not, for example. I'm sure they find much of what we do to be lackluster as well.
