Okay, I didn't see a thread on this show anywhere else, so hopefully I didn't just miss it.

Anyways, are there any fans of this show out there?  I loved the first episode, but my husband wasn't so keen on it, so we stopped watching it. However, I found it on Netflix and (this is really, really rare for me), finished the first season in a weak.  It is.... AMAZING!  I just couldn't stop watching it, and I find the show so riveting!
I haven't gotten past episode three on the second season yet, so I beg you to black out any spoilers if you give them.

That being said... I am so, so in love with this show.  Usually a show with so many shocks and turns begins to feel like overkill, but I haven't felt that once while watching.  Although I likely should have seen it coming, the ending of the first season absolutely stunned me. I had been hoping for that non-cliche ending due to the premise of unraveling Joe's perfect and predictable tale.  However, I didn't actually expect it to happen... and I LOVED IT.  I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat and holding back a yell.

I did actually have a suspicion that Carroll would be alive though.  The idea made me groan because it would be too much in my opinion, and when I saw the premiere of the second seasons, I can't deny I was very disappointed in that. However, all the action is certainly making up for it.

One of my FAVORITE parts about the show is the lack of perfection though. I absolutely love that people screwed up on both sides and weren't made out to be perfect super men who's every planned detail came into fruition. I also loved how there were DEPENDABLE characters.  I honestly thought they'd try to make Agent Parker or Agent Weston a cult member for shock value. I was very pleased they didn't.  ^.^

My wife and I got in the show about 2 months ago. We watched all of season 1 on Netflix, and we are currently keeping up with the second season on Hulu Plus. I really love the show too (we seem to end up liking a lot of the same shows). Shock value all over the place.

Anyway, I won't give you any spoiler details. A lot of stuff is going to go down in season 2, so be prepared. However, there is something. Overall, season 1 was FAR superior to the current season. The main thing is that it takes FOREVER for the wheels to really start spinning. You know Joe is alive and there are some crazy people who are looking for him. What you will start to likely feel is that they are taking WAY too long to get everything set up.

We just watched Episode 12 today. To give you an idea of what I mean by taking way too long, they didn't really get things going until about episode 9. Everything you are going to see from the episode you are on now to episode 8 is mainly going to be getting everything set up. It is a good show, but at times it is actually does get a little boring when you compare it to season 1. But that isn't saying anything too bad because season one was just amazing and hard to live up to.

Let me know when you get caught up.

I went on a kick today and watched about 6 episodes. I have to agree with you that the show is going very slowly. after the two spoilers I discussed with you, I was a little disappointed.  The show was decent, but as you said... not as wonderful as season one.  However, I just finished episode 8 or 9... not sure which... and my faith in the show was restored.  I nearly fell off my chair at the end of that episode.  I NEVER saw that coming at all! I love it!!!!

I have always been a pretty decent sized fan of this show ever since I first saw the trailer weeks before it premired, though I haven't been able to see much of it. I have seen about 10 episodes of season 1, including the first 3 episodes and the last 5 I believe. and I also saw the premire for season 2. So far, my favorite episode is The End Is Near, the second to last episode of season 1.

Singelli : Yeah. Pretty much when the religious cult gets taken over is when it really starts to pick up to be like it was Season 1. (Don't consider that a spoiler because at this point, you likely already figured it was going to happen)

rcarter2 :  Yeah don't worry... you didn't spoil anything. haha

Great news is that I'm almost caught up!  I got about half way through episode twelve today, so I'll just need to watch 13, then.  What days does it come on?  I'm excited to start watching it on the TV instead of on my laptop. haha

Singelli : I am not exactly sure. We watch it on Hulu Plus. The newest episode is available for me to watch every Tuesday, so I assume the show airs on Mondays.

For those of you who haven't seen the show and want to... don't read ahead, as this post contains spoilers.

I was able to catch up on the episodes that had already been aired, and I finished watching the second season on the television. I wanted to know how fans felt about the ending of season two.  See, when season one ended and Joe was dead, I kept thinking about how lame it would be if the writers 'found' a way to make Joe survive. Then, as though to grief me, they did so. I was highly upset about it and thought it to be predictable, but as the season wore on, I was able to forgive them.

This time, Joe survived and it's not a secret.  I had actually been telling my husband that it's a shame such a storyline can't really be stretched throughout too many seasons without losing its charm and becoming too repetitive.  (I mean, could we really watch...say... ten seasons of a serial killer murdering people?  I think not...) I loved the show and the way it was written, and it seemed a shame to miss out on such potential awesomeness.

However, to have ANOTHER season with Joe as a main nemesis?  I think it's a little disappointing.  I had been hoping that Joe would be ended and that the woman would be a new threat to be dealt with in the third season.

I had no idea until now that the show had been rewnewed for a 3rd season and I am really excited about that. Thiough, I don't like how each season only had 15 episodes, I would have liked it if there had been more. The 3rd season begins Jan 4th, 2015.

I started watching this a few days ago on netflix and am on episode 10 of 1st season.

Episodes 1-7 for me were kinda hard to watch at times because of the content, but now that I know the premise of the show, it's something I want to watch to the end.

It's a thriller/drama type show, and that type is my favorite genre for shows/movies. Although, this show is kinda contorted, the suspense of the show does make me, personally, want to watch it to the end episode (season 3 isn't out yet, and I haven't finished season 1 yet, but I can download them lol).

tRIUNE :  Well hopefully you didn't read my posts in this thread, since they contain some spoilers. XD  The content was a little rough, but as you said, the suspense was wonderful!  I was kept on the edge of my seat for most episodes.  Tell me what you think when you finish the first and second season!

So I finished season 2 last night; the show as a whole is interesting because of the suspense, but overall it's disturbing. I've had to turn it off a couple times because got tired of all the stabbing, but strangely I'm anticipating season 3. Go figure.

tRIUNE :  There were many scenes where I looked away or covered parts of the screen, so you're not alone.  I'm looking forward to season three... I think.  It might be too much, but I guess I'll just have to see.
