I'm upgrading from a virtual dedicated server to a dedicated server. This will basically mean that the server will be about 4 times faster and this will prevent the vizzed server from crashing due to heavy strain and will increase the speed of vizzed.com and get-your-rom.com

Transfer will begin tomorrow and will end on Tuesday. The site may be down for a few hours sometime Monday night or early Tuesday.

As I said, the server just gets way to much traffic for it to handle so I'm forced to upgrade. The new server will be, as I said, far more powerful but will also cost more than double what I currently pay (so I'll be paying over $100 a month for the new server). But with the amount of traffic we get from vizzed board and gyr, that's over 5000 unique visitors a day and I'm definitely forced to upgrade.

Yeah it's the server info. Upgrading not only will prevent crashes but it'll increase the speed of the board and GYR by a lot also.

I've added new google ads to the site as some of you may have noticed and they'll be able to pay for the server fee.

Yeah, I saw a few Habbo ads before and wondered if you'd changed.
I personally could handle way more ads than you've got at the moment if it meant more upgrades and features for vizzed.
But I think a lot of other people would complain about it.

The nice thing about the game room is, I can put plenty of ads on those pages and still make money for vizzed board and those ads not affecting those here just to post.

Thanks joebab. Yeah some people really hate ads but they are seriously what keep sites up. Most sites wouldn't be able to afford to stay up if it weren't for the ads and it's the same way with vizzed board.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
