Dragon Warrior 3 is my favorite NES game.  It has great story telling, introduced night and day into the RPG world, and was brilliant.  It ate up so much time for me as a kid.  It's also the reason I joined Vizzed in the first place.

The NES is not my favorite console by any means but it did have some gems (and a better controller than the Master System but the Master System was a better console, that is a story for another time though). My favorite games for the NES would have to be the Megaman series (1-6).  With Megaman 2 being my favorite out of those.  I also throughly enjoyed Final Fantasy 3 (I sadly couldn't get myself to play the first two though).
