I tried inner tube water polo today.  I have never played it, I had no idea it existed, and I jumped in the pool, grabbed an inner tube, and went and played.  It was hilarious and I had a blast.

When is the last time you did something totally new and foreign and what was it?

Well, recently I had to go to a youth group for my Anthropology ethnography assignment. We were not allowed to do anything that was not completely alien to us (for the most part). I tried to do video gaming as a general topic, but my teacher quickly discovered that pretty much the only thing I did on a day to day basis besides go to school, is play video games. Well, I did end up having to go to this youth group, and I can honestly say it was not as bad as I had expected. I thought that the people making up the youth group would try to shove their religious beliefs down my throat and tell me that I was going to hell for being agnostic, but that ended up not happening, and the people in the group were actually extremely friendly and welcoming. I mean, I probably won't go back, but it was definitely not a bad experience.

kirbmanboggle : That's cool.  I was in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and I had a lot of fun.  I learned new things and I made a lot of friends.  Keep it up, it's a good time.

Brigand : Did you start going crazy because you stopped going or did you start going crazy because you were going?

Either way, it sounds provocative.  I may take a peek myself.

Well that is a pretty much of a Zen question is it not? Well I went crazy on my own and then just stopped going, which sort of made all progress I made there go back to zero. Going there never made me crazy. Just more aware of who I am.

I loved the "sit down and shut up"- aspect of it all since that was all there was to it. Nobody told you to "visualize world peace" or to try to "find your happy place". When you are really on your own and have nobody to face except your self and the reality well... Give it a go. It is highly recommended. I think I will go back at some point.
