I personally thought it was a much lower game than XIII, and my opinion on XIII wasnt that great. The story, the combat system, and the gameplay dropped dramatically.

i actually really enjoyed until the ending that's what ruined final fantasy for me and now they made a third sequel and this one looks horrible thats why i'm excited for 15 type zero and 16 because they look better in gameplay storyline. because for 13 they had some good story line but ruined it a little the gameplay to me was fun but then i just wanted the game to explode. the story only for a few parts because they were very questinable aka the end and lot's of parts so the game is about a 80% in my mind

I actually really liked XIII-2.

It was a pretty fun game, that got rid of the hallway of Final Fantasy XIII, and added a fun time travel aspect.

Even the ending had me enamored. So much so that I bought Lightning Returns. Haven't played it yet, but I'm excited.

I actually liked it way better than the prequel. It was super cool to bump into the old characters in different time periods. Plus Serah and Lighting are both cute! I haven't finished the game yet though, and it's already been over two years since I played it... So I won't remember what to do next in the game so I probably have to start all over.

Sorry to say I don't like it at all, I agree with you Alex on what you said there. I went to go and see the ending to be in disbelief of how they ended the game. I was in shock for like....2 mins and I kept on saying I can't believe this... I'm not even going to try and play the 3rd part of the game, as it is a disgrace to other ff games that was made before it. That's how I see it, how can ff 13 have 3 parts which I just don't understand...Ok I loved the first 1 but, that's it.

I agree that it was lower, as in not as good, but just because it's not as good as something else doesn't guarantee that it's bad. Yes, I liked it a lot less than XIII, but I still felt that it was a good game and was enjoyed.
