Which LISTED fish do you prefer? There's salmon, tilapia, halibut, and trout

I've never had trout (and I don't plan to), but I absolutely love tilapia. Halibut tastes great and all, salmon is disgusting, but I lub me some tilapia.

So which fish do you prefer?

I am going to go with tilapia for a few reasons, it is indeed delicious, and I recently had some, man that stuff is good. Although I don't eat a whole lot of fish too often, I do like tilapia. Interesting enough though I haven't had trout, halibut or salmon. The only other fish I've had is flounder which is also pretty delicious. Good question since I have had fish recently so this worked out quite nicely. I have never had caviar though, and honestly, just the sound of fish eggs doesn't sound appetizing. 

Kind of think you are starting to make way too many of these "What is the best kind of ________". You have made like 10 of them in a few days.

I haven't tried trout, but I LOVE Salmon.  It's very rare that I get to eat it, but when I do, I love every bite.

I'll choose salmon. But it really depends on the cook. My family makes excellent salmon dishes and the only Tilapia and Halibut I've tried were only decent, not astounding.

Anyone have recommendations for good sea-food restaurants? I might like to try one out.

Not specifically, but this is how fad threads start. For example, a while ago, one person started an "A vs B" thread. It got a lot of activity, so that person started making more and more "A vs B" threads. Everyone sees how much activity that person's threads are getting, so many people start making "A vs B" threads. Then people accidentally make dupe "A vs B" threads because there are so many, and they don't know the one they made already exists. The next thing you know, half of the threads in the New Reply screen are just a bunch of "A vs B" threads. To bring some order back to the forum, "A vs B" a rule is implemented that no more new "A vs B" threads are to be made.

Same thing happened with "Ask Anything" threads. It is the starting pattern. One person makes one. It gets activity, so they make more. Then EVERYONE starts making them, and then that is just what takes up the majority of the forum for a while until something is done about it. So you aren't breaking rules, but I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing other people making their own "What select ________ is the best select ________" threads pretty soon.

Well, I do indeed like salmon. I hate cooked salmon. The other kind tastes great and much better.

From the list, I would definitely have to say salmon. Tilapia is a close second for me though. With salmon I like it many different ways, but my favorite would either be in a raw sushi-type dish, or broiled with an herb covering. Though, it all depends on the person making the food, I've had really crummy sushi, and I've had really crummy salmon. I really don't eat out that much (for salmon), but in terms of places that have had good salmon would be The Outback Steakhouse and Red Lobster. I don't know many other fish restaurants around here, but even if they have decent fish, my parents can still make it better (they don't make sushi though, for that I have usually gone to either Giant Eagle or Little Tokyo, if any of you are familiar).

Salmon always tasted really bland and is just weird for me.
