I don't cry for some reason. Even when there is something so sad. Like when there is a depressing scene in a movie, I feel sad but I don't cry. Even when the character crys. So does it makes me a bad person?

No. Not necessarily. I barely cry either. Really, I've only cried over one character in one movie ever. And it was a really childish cartoon-y movie. I mean it kind of had a deep meaning. It was something about an alien Iron Giant and how he was destroyed saving the kid who took care of him in the end. Honestly, I cried when that robot died. Other than that, I can't think of a character I've cried over. Don't feel bad--- It's normal for me.

Other than the fact that it's a physiological characteristic of males, a lack of tears mean nothing. 

How you look on the outside isn't ever a trusted indicator of how you feel. 

I haven't cried in years and there have definitely been points where I've felt really sad. Ultimately, you know how you feel and no one can tell you otherwise.

Nope. I know a lot of people that are like that. It doesn't mean you are a bad person. I have the opposite problem, I cry too often. It is embarrassing sometimes.

Nah. Don't worry about not crying. As long as you can empathize and comfort people when they're distraught or  out of it, you're fine. If anything, when something bad happens your lack of tears makes you look more reliable and mature. 

So really it's a good thing!

Thing about sad parts on movies. Even when we are really engaged in the movie/story, we know that they are actors. We know it isn't happening at that moment. Not crying at movies is no indication on your character.

I don't think it makes you a bad person by any means if you don't cry, you can express your sadness in other ways besides tears believe it or not. It doesn't make you weird or bad in any way, and it has been a long time since I have cried over something as well, so your not alone on this. Its not that I try to have a tough guy macho personality, but most of the time I don't cry over a lot of things, rather I just get depressed instead. So you aren't a bad person by any means. 

Don't worry even some girls don't cry over movie stuff.  I only cry on two things extreme pain or death of a loved one.  Actually I didn't start crying over death until I was an adult.  When my grandma died when I was 17 I didn't cry some how it didn't connect to me at the time.  Though when my mother died when I was 25 I cried quite a bit the first day and on her service day. 

So what I am trying to say is that it's ok to not cry over simple things like movies or tv shows.  And you have to understand if you are not crying over the death that you might not be connected to what is going on yet and that happens to a lot of people.  Also lots of people don't cry over pain it considers your pain tolerance which is different for every person.

No it does not make you a bad person. It made be sad but sometimes other people do not cry at those moments in movies. Its not because you are a bad person its just because you may be used to it and it happens a lot so you just may have a strong heart. I hope you do not think yourself as a bad person man because you have a future ahead.

No, it doesn't make you a bad person, only one who does not cry. I rarely ever cry, no matter how sad the occasion, I usually just sit there with a depressed expression on my face. The few times I have cried were when my friends died (;_. Other than that, I don't really cry all that much. Elfen lied was extremely sad, especially the scene with the puppy. My friends cried, but I did nothing (I'm not soulless, I was still sad). When my relatives died, I didn't know them all that well, me being the little kid that I was, and so didn't cry (still somber). The only time it would possibly make you a bad person is if you felt nothing or didn't feel sad in anyway in certain situations even though you should (I guess that's subjective though) be (regardless of whether you cry or not).

I make a few more jokes than necessary and it does not know how to reflect others. Perhaps the joke and has a margin even though I do not malicious.
